*Advantage Lifts and Automotive Lift Service* is a rapidly growing Company that specializes in sales, service and installation of automotive lifts and garage equipment. We are looking for a *Human Resources/Safety Coordinator*.*Position Description: *The *Human Resources/Safety Coordinator* will coordinate and maintain the Company human resources policies and safety programs. This position will work under the Chief Operating Officer.*Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: ** Primary contact for employee questions and document requests (ex. employment verification).* Performs regular administrative duties, such as but not limited to, maintaining documents (digital & paper), maintaining personnel & training files, employee document distribution, and filing.* Conduct telephone screens with applicants to assess candidate qualifications.* Coordinate with senior management to schedule formal in-person and telephone interviews.* Conduct confirmation calls for upcoming interviews.* Coordinate and conduct orientation program and arrange on-the-job training for new hires.* Organize safety and educational training sessions for warehouse and technician employees (Ex. forklift training/certification).* Conduct specified training sessions as needed.* Assist in the planning and implementation of safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal (OSHA) rules and regulations.* Assist in organizing safety committee meetings.* As requested, aid with the administration of workers' compensation programs.* Complete first report of injury and document investigation.* Assist in managing the relationship with company medical provider to coordinate and monitor any work-related injuries and workers' compensation program as well as, pre-employment screenings.* Plan company events such as holiday parties, etc.* Review time keeping reports for accuracy, maintain attendance records and PTO accruals.* Works with vendors such as uniform and safety shoe vendors.* Monitor, order, and issues PPE supplies to employees.* Prepare and maintain special internal and external reports as requested.* Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.*Education and Experience: ** Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Industrial Health and Safety preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.* 2 to 3 years of human resources administrative experience.* 2 to 3 years of industrial safety experience preferred.* 2 to 3 years related recruiting experience preferred.*Job Qualifications: ** Excellent organizational skills, self-motivated and uses good judgement.* High level of attention to detail.* Small group public speaking capabilities.* Proficient with Microsoft Office Suites - Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.* Experience working in an ERP system is a plus.* Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures and systems such as filing, record keeping, email and management of documents/records.* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written required.* Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to interact with a diverse work force.* Strong work ethic, ability to multitask and adjust to changing schedules and priorities with ease.Job Type: Full-timePay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per yearBenefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Dental insurance* Employee assistance program* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid time off* Vision insuranceSchedule:* Monday to FridayWork Location: One location
