Busy and Growing Dental Practice in Bowie, MD is looking to hire an Experienced Dental Receptionist. The right candidate will greet and assist our patients, answering incoming calls and emails, use Smart Scheduling techniques to fill our openings, and verify insurances.*Main Job Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities** Ensure the patient schedule is full every day* Assist patients to complete all necessary forms and documentation* Verify and update patient information* Move patients through appointments as scheduled* Maintain and manage patient records in compliance with privacy and security regulations* Answer and manage incoming calls, phone messages and emails* Respond to and comply with requests for information* Monitor upcoming schedule and fill holes by calling patients who are due and overdue for treatment, and any patients waiting for earlier appointments* Check daily appointment schedule* Verify insurance for the next day* Explaining treatment plans to patients and informing patients of financial treatment plan options* Check patients out, process payments, and submit insurance claims as needed* Maintain a professional and comfortable reception area* Safeguard patient privacy and confidentialityExperience* 3+ years experience working in a Dental office* Knowledge of Dental Terminology and ADA Codes* Experience working with Claims and verifying insurances* Eaglesoft Experience PreferredJob Type: Full-timeSchedule:* Monday to FridayAbility to commute/relocate:* Bowie, MD 20715: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)Experience:* Eaglesoft: 2 years (Preferred)Work Location: One location
