The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) is seeking at least two (2) highly skilled contractors to assist in resolving the approximately 10,000 help desk tickets received each year at DHHS IT. This position would join the Desktop Support Team, which is responsible for the bulk of touch-labor support for nearly 3,000 staff spread over about 50 locations and 207 Montgomery County Public School Health Rooms.General tasks include:Advanced level desktop support including Operating System (OS) imaging, hardware, software, mobile device deployment, troubleshooting, documentation, inventory, computer relocation, commercial off the shelf (COTS) and internal applications support, and other duties as assigned.Contractor will provide staff with experience in: 2.2.1. Windows OS Administration: Windows10 Enterprise, ActiveSync and various VDI solutions.Desktop support including Hardware/Software troubleshooting in Windows Active Directory and enterprise domain environments. 2.2.3. Knowledge in troubleshooting enterprise printers 2.2.4.
