Wilson College seeks an Assistant Professor in Business.ABOUT THE POSITION: We are recruiting for an outstanding faculty member, open rank to teach business courses for the in-person business program at Wilson College in Chambersburg, PA. The hired faculty member will teach seven courses per year that span a range of business disciplines. Wilson College's size encourages versatility, and the hired professor is likely to teach courses from multiple disciplines, both in-person and online. Additionally, faculty members participate in campus activities, committees, student advising, and research.Application review is expected to begin in December 2022 and will continue until a hiring decision is made. Candidates will be invited for interviews during Spring 2023. The successful candidate is expected to start the new appointment in August 2023.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: An MBA or other master's degree in an appropriate subject area and some work experience related to business either in the private sector or interaction with business by government.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: A Ph.D. degree (or to be expected by December 31, 2023) in business management, marketing, finance, economics, or a related discipline.Top candidates will be invited to give a teaching demonstration as a part of their interview process.Potential Areas for Teaching:The ability to teach courses supporting majors/minors offered by the business program:* Accounting* Business Management (particular needs are human resource management, organizational behavior, and data analytics.)* Economics* Entrepreneurship* Finance (particular need is International Finance.)* Marketing (particular need for marketing across the board.)* Sports Management* E-Sports Management* Supply Chain ManagementAPPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:1.
