The ideal candidate demonstrates a high-level of customer service, interacting daily with our residents, and possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently. Residents enjoys amazing amenities that bring everything together including a resort-style pool and rooftop terrace, making it a local favorite!*A Typical Day May Include the Following: ** Maintaining accurate resident records in property management software and resident files* Working with office staff to ensure all monies are collected as due and that all revenue data is posted correctly in the on-site property management software system* Preparing all resident notices, including monthly newsletters, resident activity notices, late payment notices, and eviction notices* Preparing balance statements and notices for non-payment of rent and other violations* Coordinating with Property Manager the status of client accounts* Completing Final Account Statements and performing follow-ups with former residents to effectively manage bad debt and follow through on Security Deposit Returns* Responsible for Accounting Month End procedures* Greeting prospective residents, determining needs and preferences, and professionally present community and specific apartments while providing features and benefits* Reviewing lease paperwork with both Leasing Consultants and residents while explaining property rules and regulations, and ensure all lease paperwork is completed correctly and has been approved by the Property Manager* Assisting Property Manager with renewal processes* Maintaining awareness of local market conditions and trends* Understanding and complying with state landlord-tenant Fair Housing laws and standards* Partnering with maintenance staff to make sure apartments are completed for scheduled move-ins* Responsible for overall upkeep - including apartment units and common areas* Assisting with the daily operation of the property in the absence of the Property Manager* Assisting Property Manager with scheduling, organizing, and hosting resident events*If You Have the Following, We Want to Hear from You!** 1-2 years' experience as an Assistant Property Manager in multifamily property management* Demonstrate proficiency in working with Microsoft Office Suite to include Outlook, Excel, software/database, and several social media outlets* RealPage experience preferred* Superior customer service, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills* High school diploma or equivalent*What we need from you** Flexible work schedule, including weekends* Successful completion of background and drug screening required prior to beginning employment*What you can get from us: ** Medical, Dental, Vision and Prescription Coverage* Flexible Spending Accounts* 4 Weeks Paid Parental Leave* 4 Weeks Paid Pregnancy Leave* Paid Time Off (PTO)* Company Paid Holidays* Employer Match 401(k) Plan* Short Term Disability Insurance* Accident Insurance* Critical Illness Insurance* Long Term Disability Insurance* Life and AD&D Insurance* Employee Assistance Program* Group Legal Plan* Pet Insurance* ID Theft Plan* Commuter BenefitsJob Type: Full-timeBenefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Dental insurance* Employee assistance program* Flexible spending account* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid time off* Parental leave* Professional development assistance* Referral program* Retirement plan* Tuition reimbursement* Vision insuranceSchedule:* Monday to Friday* Weekend availabilitySupplemental pay types:* Bonus pay* Commission pay* Signing bonusEducation:* High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:* Assistant Property Manager: 2 years (Required)License/Certification:* Driver's License (Preferred)Work Location: One location
