At Henrico Doctors Hospital, our Clinical Support Resource Nurses support high quality, patient-centered care by offering feedback, guidance, and mentoring to new graduate nurses and/or nurses that are transitioning to a new specialty. The Resource Nurse supports multiple units and provides guidance and education on the hospital s standard of nursing practice, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with all accrediting and regulatory agency requirements. You will perform rounds on each nursing unit, continuously observing, assessing the quality of patient care, and identifying nursing educational needs Our nurses utilize skills of observation, provide feedback on nursing assessments, nursing diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation of patient care You must tracks requests to identify the most commonly requested skills for purposes of enhancing orientation & education You will attend rapid responses and codes as needed, to observe, provide feedback, and debrief, facilitate education, direction, coaching before, during and after the rapid response or code as indicated What qualifications you will need: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN required/MSN preferred) Required: 2+ years experience as a RN Required: Current Registered Nurse license in Virginia or a compact license Required: Current BLS & ACLS certification Preferred: 1+ years experience in a leadership role and 1+ years experience as a preceptor This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
