Senior Relationship Manager - Federal Housing Administration (Remote Eligible)

Our Multifamily Finance Team is one of the largest originators of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and Federal Housing Administration (FHA) loans, supported by over 200 associates and generating close to $10 billion in annual loan volume.

The FHA Relationship Manager will be responsible for partnering across various Capital One Commercial Real Estate teams to source Multifamily FHA loans and seeing the loan through to closing. In this role, the associate will work closely with the Production and Underwriting teams to engage clients for loan applications and nurture client relationships.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Assist and support the production team in gaining and retaining business from internal client accounts
  • Analyze multifamily operating statements and client proposals to determine FHA loan feasibility and lending parameters
  • Prospect for potential new customers by regularly mining and analyzing data bases to build potential client target lists
  • Establishes and implements a sales strategy
  • Interacts with customers or potential customers to explain Capital One products and services
  • Must be able to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience with developing and maintaining loan processes and transaction management


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in Multifamily FHA Production or Underwriting
  • At least 3 years of experience in Relationship Management

  • Product specialist for Multifamily FHA loan programs including affordable housing and healthcare loans
  • Experience working with HUD Offices
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Ability to meet time sensitive deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience with developing and maintaining loan processes and transaction management

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

Location is New York City

- $188,814 and $222,758 for Agency Relationship Manager III

Location is Colorado

- $159,978 and $188,738 for Agency Relationship Manager III

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.
