Project Manager - Cybersecurity Professional Services (CPS)CITIZENSHIP: US CitizenshipLOCATION: Reston, VA or RemoteCLEARANCE: N/AExcentium, Inc. is a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) passionate about reducing the vulnerabilities of our Nation's Cyberspace.Since 2006, we have attacked cyber security challenges on two fronts: by partnering with government to reduce the risks associated with delivering capabilities to its users, and by supporting commercial vendors and Cloud Service Providers (CSP) to help ensure security and compliance requirements from conception to sale - and beyond.Job Description:Excentium Inc. is seeking an experienced project manager to assist our Cybersecurity Professional Services (CPS) Team in managing several complex projects and deliver value promised to our clients in support of their critical missions.Roles & Responsibilities - Your role and responsibilities will include:A cents € cents Lead cross-functional teams in the delivery of high-risk, complex projects, directly affecting the firm's strategy to meet technology and business requirements on time and within budget.A cents € cents Facilitate process improvement and identify and articulate stakeholder needs to drive strategies and maximize outcomes related to return on investment (ROI), customer satisfaction, and organizational metrics and performance.A cents € cents Experienced in methods of estimating time and resources for task assignments and resource leveling.A cents € cents Responsible in all phases of project management, including project development, budgeting, planning & design, dev/test/deploy gates, project implementation, project oversight and project closure.A cents € cents Provide the required leadership and cultivate and maintain a positive working relationship with client representatives, and subcontractors.Detailed Tasks Include: Develop/manage/maintain comprehensive, accurate project plans and schedules, as well as perform estimation, forecasting, planning, analysis, issue/risk/change management, variance analysis, and financial status reporting:A cents € cents Break through communication issues and effectively develop relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.A cents € cents Champion and mentor project management skills within our service delivery team.A cents € cents Lead interdisciplinary team meetings, clearly communicate project requirements and process while allowing appropriate autonomy for team members.A cents € cents Provide regular scope, timeline updates to the team and provide budget oversight to corporate leadership.A cents € cents Track/adjust budgets throughout the project and accurately project staff resourcing for projects.A cents € cents Works with all required cross-functional teams and groups to effectively plan and execute sizable projects.A cents € cents Coordinate subject matter experts (SMEs) and other project stakeholders to ensure project is appropriately staffed and resources are properly aligned and managed.A cents € cents Maintains regular contact with internal clients, coordinates and reports on project progress and accomplishments.A cents € cents Partner with delivery staff and solutions architects to deliver critical capabilities to the customer.A cents € cents Manage personnel morale.A cents € cents Forecast and manage people, process, and technology related resources to ensure successful achievement of corporate goals.A cents € cents Conduct in-depth analyses of project data, requirements, and impact; identify problem areas and determine how to resolve them.A cents € cents Manage CPS Team's velocity and continually improve our processes for organizing ourselves and our work.A cents € cents Effectively set and communicate project expectations and productivity benchmarks to team members, identifying project risks, constraints, and interdependencies.A cents € cents Provide Monthly program reviews to Leadership team.Job Qualifications and Skills:EducationA cents € cents Bachelor's degree in project management, computer science, informational technology, or related fields; Master's degree is preferredA cents € cents PMP or equivalent is preferredA cents € cents Minimum of five (5) years of project management experienceA cents € cents CISSP, CISM, CISA, CASP+, or GSLC desiredQualificationsA cents € cents Ability to obtain and hold a US security clearanceA cents € cents Ability to travel internationally may be requiredExperienceA cents € cents Experience with consulting services contracting is required.A cents € cents Experience with cloud-based solutions and cybersecurity is preferred (NIST RMF, FedRAMP, CMMC desired).A cents € cents Experience growing a contract and participating in business development.A cents € cents Experience with a structured sales methodology is preferred.A cents € cents Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.A cents € cents Experience supervising a cross-functional, matrixed team of project managers, engineers, and security professionals and subcontractors.A cents € cents Ability to plan strategies, track plans, activities, and milestones, coordinate activities and deliverables across the project team members, and report to executive leadership.A cents € cents Experience using waterfall, agile frameworks, such as lean, scrum, and SAFe and familiarity with agile development practices, such as continuous integration / delivery / monitoring and DevSecOps.Skills Advanced knowledge of MS Office, MS Project, MS Excel, and SharePointExcentium offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, life, disability, 401k, and paid time off.We take pride in building a workforce with a strong Veterans focusExcentium, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.Job Type: Full-time
