*Asset Management Analyst*Job Description*Scope*To be responsible for completing workstreams and analytics during the acquisition and asset management process, including, but not limited to, analyzing deals, acquisition financing, refinancing debt, closings, transitions, budget reviews, capex planning, monthly property reviews, creating and analyzing financial reports and models and managing pipeline reporting. To be responsible for ad hoc workstreams related to asset management and operations including utility billing and analysis, insurance, third party vendor requests and vacancy reporting and analysis. Must adhere to all applicable Fair Housing Laws governing real estate sales, leasing and management/ maintenance services.*The following is a list of responsibilities including but not limited to the performance of the Asset Management Analyst as determined by Parakeet: **Responsibilities/Skills*Accountability for creating and distributing asset management related reports, meeting agendas, analyses, and processesHelp build and oversee budgets and ensure financial objectives are achieved month-to-month.Manage the operational and corporate level reporting and help prepare weekly updates, reports, and meeting agendas for the executive leadership team.Manage internal and external capital planning both in due diligence, after closing, and through disposition.Help execute the seamless transition of new acquisitions.Participate in due diligence and operational property visits.Assist in preparing required and needed resident notices such as rent increase notices, prospectus amendments, passthrough notifications, etc.Create, improve, manage, and edit financial models and due diligence analyses.Manage the property transition initiatives such as utility bill transfers, license and permit transfers, service contract transfers.Participate in team and company-wide conference calls, video calls and meetings throughout the acquisitions and process and post-closing.Prepare, analyze, and edit financial reports for review by the executive team on up to a monthly basis.Assist in the management of debt transactions and related processes across owned assets and new acquisitions.Help prepare financial models, memos, due diligence reports and other relevant materials during the acquisition and asset management processes for internal and external use.Assist in all aspects of utility financial management such as meter calculations, submetering planning, utility due diligence and sales, etc.Any and all other relevant duties or job functions related to acquisitions and asset management not defined above, along with other potential undefined corporate responsibilities*Requirements** Proficient in Microsoft Office* 3+ years experience in real estate private equity, investing and/or finance* Results driven and positive with an eye for detail* Must have flexibility to travel and work some nights and weekends, as required* Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills* Must have excellent organizational and tasking skills* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business-related field preferredJob Type: Full-timePay: From $60,000.00 per yearBenefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Dental insurance* Employee assistance program* Health insurance* Health savings account* Paid time off* Vision insuranceSchedule:* 8 hour shift* Monday to Friday* No weekendsSupplemental pay types:* Bonus payAbility to commute/relocate:* Potomac, MD 20854: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Required)Experience:* Asset management: 3 years (Preferred)Work Location: One location
