*Job Title: *Senior Human Resources Generalist*Type: *Full-Time Exempt*Location: * HQ Office A$ cents A cents ' not A cents € oe Silver Spring, MD at Metro*Description: *IBSS is seeking an experienced human resource professional to fill the position of Senior HR Generalist. This position will uptake a wide variety of tasks throughout the department, some responsibilities may extend outside the department. In specific, the obligations of this position include but are not limited to managing day-to-day HR operational functions, supervising junior HR staff, and leading various projects. This role will also be responsible for ensuring that all of our employment policies are in compliance with Federal and State government regulations and contractual requirements. This individual will be responsible and expected to oversee employee & labor relations matters, onboarding & offboarding management, benefits administration, HR operations, compliance tracking & reporting, performance management, workforce development & training implementation, personnel security clearance matters, and managing corporate events. This position will report directly to the Human Resources Manager.*Key Responsibilities: ** Supervise and manage day-to-day operations of HR functions and other duties as assigned.* Oversee the daily workflow of the department.* Support in creating and maintaining an inclusive and supportive company culture.* Create strategic operational plans to promote efficiency and sustainability of processes, while improving as needed.* Ensure employee personnel records are up to date and compliant.* Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations of HR staff.* Support in overseeing the hiring process of new HR staff into the department.* Oversee and handle employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.* Implement and execute HR policies, employee handbook, processes, and relevant documentation as detailed by the HR Manager.* Manage the onboarding and offboarding processes.* Maintain compliance with Federal, State, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; review policies and practices to maintain compliance.* Implement company-wide training programs.* Handle employment-related inquiries from employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff and working with the HR Manager as needed.* Reviews, tracks, and documents to ensure IBSS is compliant with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and other contractual requirements. This may include but is not limited to safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, certifications, etc.* Ensures HR compliance and reporting is up to date including but not limited to AAP reporting, EEO-1, ACA, unemployment, VETS reporting, CAP program reporting, supporting the Finance department with W2s as needed, PCORI reporting, OSHA reporting, Workplace, and Facility Clearance posters, I9 filing internal audits, ADA, FLSA, EEOC, etc.* Manage the STD, LTD, FMLA, TDI, PML/PFML compliance matters and related processes working with the health insurance broker.* Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.* Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.* Oversee the HR Newsletter by working with the Marketing department and HR staff assigned.* Work with the HR Manager to ensure HR staff is engaged through lunches, team-building activities, work anniversaries, birthday celebrations, etc.* Develop and implement individual professional development plans for HR staff.* Supervise and oversee the benefits administration function entirely.* Create learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.* Implement employee surveys, exit interviews, and gathering necessary feedback.* Lead and manage HR Projects and major assignments as directed.* Sustain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.* Maintain employee confidence and build trust-based relationships with employees.* Regularly conducting training with HR junior staff and reporting to the HR Manager as detailed.* Oversee HR systems including but not limited to HRIS, PerformYard, TalentLMS, Employee Navigator, etc.* Manage HR Tickets and Tier I, II, and III Level roles ensuring employee satisfaction and SLA compliance.* Support the ISO, CMMI, and other business audits as directed by the HR Manager.* Manage OFCCP & EEO Compliance standards across all relevant recruiting and HR systems, processes, policies, etc.* Other duties, responsibilities, tasks, projects, and assignments as may be assigned by the Human Resources Manager.*Required Qualifications & Skills: ** BachelorA$ cents A cents ' not A cents " cents s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.* A minimum of 4 to 8+ years of human resource management experience is required.* Strong verbal and written communication skills.* Advanced interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.* Effective organizational skills, attention to detail, time management, and prioritization skills.* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.* Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate.* Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.* Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.* Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.* Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizationA$ cents A cents ' not A cents " cents s HRIS and talent management systems.*Desired Skills: ** Understanding of Federal agencies.* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Publisher)* Familiarity working with Google Suite (docs, sheets, slides, studio, etc.)*About IBSS Corp.*IBSS is a Woman-Owned business.
