We believe every voice is important and that every job brings value.*Job Description*The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for supporting all talent acquisition needs within the organization, managing the quality and accuracy of all talent acquisition metrics and data, and owning the employment branding initiatives related to external presence and talent acquisition. This position will be responsible for collaborating with the HR team and internal customers to define talent needs, manage all job posting activity across a variety of platforms, complete active and passive recruiting activities to build strong talent pipelines, work closely with our external staffing vendors, and execute on new hire onboarding activities. This role specializes in talent acquisition activities for the organization. Most importantly this position plays a critical role within the HR Department and contributes to larger departmental and organizational objectives and goals.*Essential Functions*Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.* Manage the staffing vendor relationship and communications daily regarding any temporary employees or staffing initiatives across all facilities including weekly review and submission of timecards to the appropriate vendors.* Develop fortified relationships with CDS leaders that create a path for two-way communication focused on improved talent acquisition support.* Act on behalf of CDS as a subject matter expert for all things talent acquisition including researching and recommending new and improved processes that meet and exceed market trends, researching new talent markets, and working in partnership with the HR team to build talent acquisition strategies, providing support and recommendations to the HR team and CDS leaders on talent retention efforts, and researching and recommending current employment branding strategies.* Track and report out on recruiting metrics such as: hiring manager satisfaction, cost to hire, time to find/hire, source of hire, offer acceptance rate, attrition, new hire job satisfaction, selection ratio, etc.* With support from the HR team, lead employment branding activities and initiatives, to include responding to company reviews on Glassdoor and Indeed, updating and maintaining our company profile, auditing our brand image across platforms, and providing recommendations for improvements, and promoting our employment brand via a community outreach and job fair activities in communities local to our direct operations facilities.* Complete regular meetings with internal customer groups defining approved open talent needs and updating job descriptions when needed.* Translate talent needs into job descriptions and job postings* Screen resumes and interview candidates for open positions via phone, email, or in person meetings while maintaining accurate up to date and comprehensive notes in the various ATS systems.* Apply principles of behavioral interviewing to access the qualifications of candidates and vet out referrals, references, and social media sources to formulate a well-rounded view of applicants.* Establish and maintain professional relationships with colleges and local organizations to participate in job fairs or networking events.* Participate in the preparation and communication of offer packages coordination of pre-employment screening activities and onboarding activities as needed in coordination with other HR team members.* Assists HR department in carrying out various human resources programs, procedures, projects and communications.* Assist with employee engagement activities and events to positively influence organizational culture.* Preform other duties as assigned.*Competencies & Experience** Recruiting Expertise.* Strong Communication (Verbal and Written).* Relationship Management.* Critical Evaluation.* Confidentiality.* Significant recruiting experience for a high-volume organization, agency, or executive search firm strongly preferred.* Willingness to use cold or warm calling methods to recruit or research potential applicants.* Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and social media applications.* Excellent analytical skills to track metrics and interpret data for strategic recruiting campaigns.* A professional, courteous demeanor on the phone and in-person.* Strong interpersonal skills, especially the ability to network and establish professional relationships.* Availability to travel within the United States to attend job fairs and networking events.* Ability to work under pressure and prioritize in a demanding, fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.*Required Education and Experience** Associates Degree in related field (Business, HR, Marketing).* Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook.* Experience with creating and managing data via Excel Spreadsheets.* The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of recruitment experience and a willingness to learn while working in a team environment.*Preferred Education and Experience** Bachelor's Degree from an accredited school or university.* Experience with warehouse & delivery driver recruitment.* Experience with Marketing and Social Media trends and techniques.* Experience with digital marketing platforms such as Canva, Lucidpress, InDesign, and Photoshop.*Supervisory Responsibility*This position has no supervisory responsibilities.*Work Environment*This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This position will also require operations within a warehouse and field environment.*Physical Demands*The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
