Shampoo Assistant

StarTrak Beauty looking for a Salon Assistant for the salon owner to help assist with her clients. The salon assistant must be friendly, a team player and have an eagerness to learn.*Responsibilities** Assist Salon Owner with clients and task* Shampoo, and prep clients for the salon owner* Wash, dry and fold towels* Must be able to braid* Maintain a clean environment by helping clean the salon throughout the day* Monitor stock of beauty products and refill supplies as needed* Shadow salon owner when learning new task* Attend classes with Salon owner to learn or improve on skills*Skills** Work experience as a Salon Assistant or similar role in the beauty industry* Must know how to braid* Must be able to multitask* Able to adjust to different environments* Additional certification in Cosmetology or relevant field is a plus* Trustworthy* Reliable* EfficientJob Type: Full-timePay: $700.00 - $800.00 per weekSchedule:* Monday to Friday* Rotating weekendsSupplemental pay types:* Commission pay* TipsCOVID-19 considerations:All clients are required to wear a mask, temperatures are taken at the door and clients must sanitize or wash hands when entering the salon.Experience:* Cosmetology: 1 year (Required)License/Certification:* Cosmetology License (Preferred)Work Location: One location
