TITLE: RecruiterLOCATION: Alexandria, VirginiaFLSA: ExemptDEPARTMENT: Human Resources (HR)NOTE: In order to be considered for this position, you *MUST* apply online directly on NCMEC's website.SUMMARY:The Recruiter is responsible for the full life cycle of the recruiting process. This entails sourcing and screening candidates, coordinating the interview process, and facilitating offers and employment negotiations, all while ensuring candidates have a pleasant experience.HOURS AND SCHEDULE:Monday - Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm (37.5 hours within five (5) days per week); unless otherwise required or approved by management. After hours and weekend work required at times.TRAVEL REQUIREMENT:Not to exceed 10% (to attend trainings and career fairs).SUPERVISION:This position will report to the Vice President, Human Resources.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:* Takes ownership of the candidate experience by designing and managing it.* Stays abreast of recruiting trends and best practices.* Continuously partners with the HR team and hiring managers to design, refine, and implement innovative recruiting strategies.* Works closely with hiring managers to gain a comprehensive understanding of their hiring needs for each position and meet competitive hiring goals and expectations.* Sources candidates using a variety of search methods to build a robust candidate pipeline.* Posts jobs to appropriate job boards, social media networks, colleges and universities to find talent.* Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.* Carefully reviews resumes of applicants and conducts initial phone screening interviews to identify the most qualified candidate for a given position.* Coordinates a high volume of phone, video, and face-to-face interviews, reserves conference rooms, sends calendar appointments, and provides confirmations for candidates.* Delivers high level communications between hiring managers, candidates and other stakeholders within the organization.* Collaborates with hiring managers and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, start dates, and other pertinent details.* Ensures detailed background, fingerprint and reference checks are completed for selected candidates.* Maintains accurate and complete documentation on all candidates, searches, hiring manager interactions, and other recruiting activities.* Participates in on-campus recruiting activities and career fairs, as needed to support the team.* Manages the onboarding and new-hire process; conducts bi-weekly New Hire Orientation.* Conducts office tours as part of the New Hire Orientation.* Manages NCMEC's internship program and maintains appropriate records of active Interns for each program (Spring, Summer and Fall).* Maintains communication with Interns regarding timesheet and travel reimbursement processes, timelines and submission.* Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and NCMEC policies.* Performs other duties as assigned.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.* 3-5 years of proven work experience as a Recruiter managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process.* Hands on experience with HR databases and Applicant Tracking Systems.* Proven experience conducting various types of interviews (ie, phone, video, etc.).* Experience working for a non-profit organization a plus.SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES:* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).* Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn NCMEC's* The ability to use social media and database software for recruiting purposes.* Genuine interest in people and strong customer service skills.* Excellent written and verbal skills with a proven ability to effectively interact with staff at all levels of the organization.* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.* Strong decision-making skills.* Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.* Ability to work as part of a team and independently.* Ability to exercise discretion and ensure confidentiality.* Ability to multi-task.Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:* Dental insurance* Employee assistance program* Flexible schedule* Flexible spending account* Health insurance* Health savings account* Life insurance* Paid time off* Parental leave* Professional development assistance* Retirement plan* Tuition reimbursement* Vision insuranceExperience level:* 3 yearsSchedule:* Monday to Friday* Weekend availabilityWork Location: Hybrid remote in Alexandria, VA 22314
