On Site Community ManagerSequoia Management Company (SMC) is seeking an individual with previous Homeowner Association or Condominium experience for an On-Site Community Manager position. The designation of Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) or higher preferred. Island Creek Community Association is a residential community constructed in the 1990's located in Alexandria, Virginia consisting of 1,043 units. The master association, "Island Creek Community Association"A' , is comprised of 609 townhomes, 102 single family homes and 332 condominiums. The condominiums are self-managed however they contribute to the Island Creek amenities.Must be a professional, self-starter, problem solver, organized and have the experience to complete a variety of tasks, including, but not limited to:A' . Supervise, manage and delegate all day to day operationsA' . Supervise/Monitor all vendors onsite, manage work being completed within the communityA' . Preparation of all Requests for Proposals needed for the associationA' . Disclosure/Resale Package Inspections and ProcessingA' . Facilitate and Conduct All InspectionsA' . Ensure all building systems and inspections are completed, tracked, and performed in a timely basis meeting all legal guidelinesA' . Conduct daily inspections of common area and coordinate response/maintenance needsA' . Report Directly to SMC Portfolio Manager and Board of DirectorsA' . Provides support to committees established by the boardA' . Promptly return all resident and unit owner calls/emails within 24-hours of receiving the phone call/email. Coordinate after hours and weekend emergency calls from unit owners and contact the appropriate contractor. Emergencies may require night and weekend work on site.A' . Attend Monthly Board of Directors Meetings and Annual MeetingA' . Monitor all onsite systems to ensure proper maintenance is being performed per the Associations procedures, and policies, to ensure proper maintenance, upkeep, and trackingA' . Maintain and properly organize all association property maintained onsite to include lot files, books and records, and other items needed to maintain the day-to-day operations of the associationOne must have the ability to make decisions in the day-to-day operations as well as work closely with the SMC Portfolio Manager and Board of Directors.
