We invite women survivors to participate in a program wherein they attend weekly educational classes and meet with a mentor who journeys alongside them. Success is measured by achieving the life goals set by a mentee to help them understand their value, identity and created purpose and to help them be self sustained. The Well now has a social enterprise that employs women giving them full opportunity called HonA$ cents A cents ' not A cents " cents s Honey. We foster this in a safe community to encourage healing from various challenges where trauma is the common denominator. It is our desire to see a woman become self-sustained. We believe faith is an important element in their healing.*Requirements: ** An understanding that faith is an important element to oneA$ cents A cents ' not A cents " cents s growth* Minimum Requirements: Bachelors in Social Work (BSW). Preferred: Masters in Social Work (MSW)* Previous case work experience* Passion for working with women survivors* Self-motivated* Organized* Trauma informed* Full Time 40 Hours/Week* Day time hours with occasional flexibility for events, classes, on weekends / evenings* Knowledge of Baltimore City, Anne Arundel County resources preferred*The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping women to recognize their created purpose and a passion for urban communities.** The candidate must be experienced in care coordination, assessments, referrals, advocacy and accessing information and benefits for clients with disabilities, educational deficits, and/or a history of abuse, drug abuse, sex trafficking, and prostitution.* The candidate will serve as a liaison to other agencies and community service programs and be responsible for ensuring and monitoring that clientA$ cents A cents ' not A cents " cents s physical, medical, educational, and therapeutic need are appropriately met.* Candidate will be responsible for maintaining comprehensive notes and documentation (intakes, assessments, client notes, track demographics, stats, etc)* The candidate will participate in helping to develop life plans and will assist in the implementation and evaluation of progress towards life plan goals and objectives for each client.* Candidates will assist clients with adopting available community resources, and aid in the delivery of the required program services.* Candidates will submit weekly reports of case management engagement, activities, and progress toward goals and objectives to the Mentor Coordination Team.* Candidates will report progress to the Mentor Coordination team weekly and join the weekly meetings.* Candidate will take walk ins from our community to assist in various casework needs as well as management of crisis, benevolence and scholarship funds* Also, the candidate will be available to drive clients to necessary appointments and other facilities related to their case (compensation for mileage is available)* Candidates may need to work outside of scope in regards to food distribution and other areas necessary to meet the clientA$ cents A cents ' not A cents " cents s needs.Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:* Employee discount* Health insurance* Paid time offSchedule:* 8 hour shift* Day shift* Monday to FridayCOVID-19 considerations:We are following the CDC guidelines.
