The schedule is working Monday - Friday from 6:30 am - 4:00 pm.**How You'll Contribute: *We always do whatever it takes, even if it isnA$ cents A cents ' not A cents " cents t specifically our A$ cents A cents ' not A "job.A$ cents A cents ' not A' In general, the Medical Assistant is responsible for:* Assisting as scrub technician in the OR* Proper sterile and aseptic technique and setup/use of equipment* Preparing rooms for all procedures while ensuring necessary instruments, supplies and equipment are available* Technical skill in the care and use of instruments, supplies and equipment used during a surgical procedure* Proper sanitary maintenance of equipment according to OSHA guidelines* Using autoclave and clean per protocol* Providing ultrasound guidance under physicianA$ cents A cents ' not A cents " cents s supervision during transfers* Comforting patients by anticipating anxieties, answering questions, providing support*What You'll Bring: *The skills and education we need are:* Completion of a formal Medical Assistant program is required* Prior experience in an OR/Ambulatory Surgical setting* Experience in women's health (eg, OB/GYN) is required* Ability to communicate accurately and concisely* Excellent interpersonal skills* Able to function as a team player* Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer* Infertility/IVF experience is preferred* Phlebotomy skills are preferredMore important than the best skills, however, is the right person.
