We're searching for a chief operating officer (COO) who has strong leadership skills and the ability to approach business with a creative point of view. The COO will lead our team of high-performing professionals to be efficient, productive, and effective. The ideal candidate has extensive experience within the SaaS & Data Adtech industry, preferably having worked their way up to an executive role in the Venture Capital & growth markets. This executive has experience with scaling organizations and has successfully operated in this capacity during raises from Series A to IPO. We believe this trajectory helps a person develop a unique mix of business and management expertise, plus proficiency with the practices, policies, and procedures of our industry, and ensuring the operational foundation of Data Technology company, with sights set on being a Unicorn in a short amount of time.* *_This position is 100% remote._*Job Description*Objectives of this role** Collaborate with CEO in setting and driving organizational vision, operations strategy, and hiring levels* Translate strategy into actionable steps for growth, implementing organization-wide goal setting, performance management, and annual operations planning* Oversee company operations, the day-to-day administrative and employee productivity, building a highly inclusive culture that ensures team members can thrive and that organizational goals are met* Ensure effective recruiting, onboarding, professional development, performance management, and retention* Ensure compliance with national and local business regulations, and take appropriate action when necessary* Collaborate with additional c-suite executives to align with Data Privacy, Data Solutions, and Data Integrations and Marketplaces to ensure operational Data Security & Guidelines are met.*Responsibilities** Analyze internal operations and identify areas for process enhancement, including onboarding and customer success implementations* Design, plan and implement business strategies and plans that align with the short- and long-term objectives developed in tandem with CEO* Spearhead the development, communication and implementation of effective growth strategies and scalable operations processes. Additionally, oversee corporate-wide delivery of these processes, create measurable company objectives, & provide detailed feedback to proper stakeholders and leaders within the organization.* Oversee the departments within operations and partner with CEO in sales management so that sufficient investment capital can be budgeted for near-term growth targets, including ensuring capital deployment & runway budgets are prioritized based on company objectives and milestones.* Responsible for identification of department OKR's and implementation of a KPI-centered culture* Lead inter-disciplinary teams, improve and streamline data and CRM systems, and drive innovation* Manage capital investments and expenses aggressively to ensure that the company achieves investor targets for growth and profitability* Monitor performance with tracking software and take corrective measures when necessary, and prepare detailed updates and forecasts* Build and maintain trusting relationships with key customers, clients, partners, and stakeholders* Attend and partner with the CEO in leading Town Hall conversations and leadership meetingsQualifications* Master's or Bachelor's degree in business, computer science or related field preferred but not required* Five or more years of experience in executive leadership roles and must have prior experience as a COO, EVP or VP of Operations in Organization with a min. organization size of 150m valuation +* 10+ or more years of experience working within a SaaS or Data-as-a-Service platform technology organization, Consumer Data or Customer Data Platform experience, additional experience tied to media and AdTech or Martech preferred, but not required.* Excellent leadership skills, with steadfast resolve and personal integrity* Understanding of the Data Landscape and working knowledge how Audience Data and Customer Marketing & IAB Media Strategy tied to data journey relates to data experience.* Understanding of advanced business planning and regulatory issues, including but not limited to CCPA, GDPR, Can-Spam, Shelby-Compliance, PII Data Compliance, Cookie Privacy Compliance, and how data identity & privacy relates to company's best practices* Solid grasp of data analysis, analytics and performance metrics, including GA4, market segmentations, contextual customer road maps, telling data as a story.* Ability to diagnose problems quickly and foresee potential issues, creating audit logs, internal workflows, ticket back logs, and support processes to quickly handle and solve customer issues, including creating external help desks, knowledge base, and customer facing support materials* In-depth knowledge of different business functions such finance, marketing, media, sales, accounting, HR, etc.Additional Information*What We Offer** Competitive Pay* Holidays + Unlimited PTO.
