Irvine's _Education Administrative Assistant_ is a full-time position that supports the education department. Primary responsibilities include scheduling programs, managing registrations, database entry, phone support and other administrative tasks associated with Irvine's programs and special events. The Education Administrative Assistant will report to the Director of Education and Director of Early Childhood Education.*Areas of Responsibility: **Program Scheduling and Registration*A' . Answer general inquiries about Irvine's educational programs and offeringsA' . Schedule school groups, scouts, outreach programs, campout rentals and other education eventsA' . Create and manage online registrations for all Early Childhood Education, school and public programs.A' . Prepare rosters and participant info sheets for Summer Nature Camp, Day Off Camps, public programs and classes, including Early Childhood offeringsA' . Track, collect, and process payments for all education-related programs, classes, and eventsA' . Data entry and management using Raiser's Edge and Doubleknot software for all education-related classes and eventsA' . Manage room/space reservations for the Education team, working closely with Rental Coordinator and Director of ECE to find best solutions for limited spaces/space sharingA' . Communicate with staff on a daily and weekly basis regarding upcoming program/event scheduleA' . Maintain weekly and monthly reports about registration and attendance numbersA' . Assist with organizational tasks for occasional seminars, conferences, and special events as neededA' . Process applications and provide administrative support for The Nature Preschool*Other Administrative Tasks*A' . Prepare seasonal summaries, meeting minutes and assist with Board reportsA' . Print and prepare brochure mailings, stock brochures in exhibit hall*Qualifications*A' . Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred.A' . Excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills and attention to detailA' . Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn new systems: Microsoft Office; Raiser's Edge database; DoubleknotA' .
