Our company is in a period of rapid growth and expansion, offering room for growth to foster individual career aspirations. *We provide in-depth training; a company vehicle, cell phone, and gas card; medical, dental, vision and voluntary life insurance; and paid vacation time, sick leave, paid holidays; and a 401k.**The Shield Co. is an equal opportunity employer.**What will I be doing in this position?** Sell additional services, and/or pest control protection to owners or agents of homes, stores, or industry* Conducts inspections to identify infestations or conditions conducive to infestations of insects or other vertebrate pests, for making proposals and presentations to obtain sales contracts* Cover sales leads in assigned branch and develops multiple additional service and/or pest control sales leads creatively for each respective lead furnished* Record accurate measurements and writes correct descriptions of property inspected* Prepare appropriate specifications and treating instructions in accordance with existing laws, regulations, and company policy* Compute job-treating cost from company pricing instructions* Execute contracts on behalf of the company, observing company policy as to credit terms of sale* Manage collection effort on delinquent accounts of personal sales contracts* Work courteously with customers, leaving customer's premises and furnishings clean and as found* Contact customers after service is performed to ensure customer satisfaction and to develop additional prospects* Report unusual requests from customers or questions not immediately answerable to direct supervisor* Maintain prospect files, call-back files and activity records* Maintain equipment, vehicle, and personal safety equipment in clean, working order* Complete all appropriate training courses*Physical Demands and Working Conditions*The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
