We are looking to hire a Billing Analyst to support our SkyBitz division located in Herndon, VA.SkyBitz is the leading remote asset tracking and information management service provider, specializing in real"A' time decision-making tools for companies with unpowered assets.The Billing Specialist reports to the Billing Operations Manager and plays a key role in producing and providing accurate, efficient billing and customer care services to our Customer base. The Billing Specialist is responsible for the gathering and analysing of customer data, inclusive of physical assets and associated services; the generation/processing of associated customer invoices, and the support and resolution of any identified billing errors. The ideal candidate needs to possess strong data analytics and billing process knowledge. Knowledge of Great Plains and Salesforce is preferred.ResponsibilitiesA cents € cents Compile, analyze and process all customer billable products and services.A cents € cents Research and resolve transaction or billing exceptions on a daily basis. This could involve reviewing data, analyzing information, diagnosing the solution and performing all system corrections.A cents € cents Enter, validate, and maintain customer information and billing determinants as required in SFDC and Great Plains.A cents € cents Prepare, maintain and distribute billing, or transactions reports as requiredA cents € cents Interact with customers for general billing, accounts receivable, payment and collection inquiries and responding to their business needs and/or problems.A cents € cents Research and resolve identified discrepancies.A cents € cents Coordinate all re-invoice activities.A cents € cents Respond to billing, transaction questions internally and/or externally. This may require research of Customer contracts, physical product specific information, and/or interaction with other organizations such as Sales.QualificationsA cents € cents Bachelor's degree or equivalent; Business, Accounting or Finance is preferred.A cents € cents 2 + years of professional experience.A cents € cents Proficient with MS Office Suite (excel, word, access, outlook).A cents € cents Ability to work independently, prioritize and meet deadlines, as well as handle multiple demands efficiently.A cents € cents Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within billing and customer care processes.
