*POSITION: SYSTEMS ENGINEER**LOCATION: ASHBURN, VA**Job Summary: *KG&Pis actively building a dedicated team of System Engineers responsible for designing, implementing, deploying, monitoring & maintaining our on-premises/cloud systems and resources, data centers, HQ/branch office networks and access control infrastructure. The position ensures the stability, integrity and the efficient operation of the IT infrastructure that supports our internal user-base and external customers.*What You'll Get to Do!! *A' . Architect, expand and maintain the IT infrastructure for existing and new corporate offices across the country.A' . Serve as an escalation point to resolve critical infrastructure system & support request issues.A' . Perform and report root cause analysis of critical system issues to upper management.A' . Manage and coordinate vendors/partners for support services delivery.A' . Manage and maintain technical systems and network documentation.A' . Assist and collaborate with IT security team on obtaining and maintaining industry and government compliance standards by implementing and enforcing security controls and policies and performing vulnerabilities assessment, remediation and mitigation.A' . Deploy High Availability and Failover solutions on all tiers of infrastructure to reduce or eliminate single point of failures.A' . Design and implement Microsoft Active Directory best practices for Enterprise environments across multi-forest/domains.A' . Continuously identify opportunities to enhance the existing system processes and procedures.A' . Train and mentor other team members and peers, as needed.A' . Configure and maintain:o 60+ Microsoft Windows servers (2008-2019).o Ubuntu servers.o Microsoft Failover Clustering and SQL Always On servers.o Microsoft Azure Subscriptions and cloud resources.o VMware vSphere Suite (v5.5 - v7.0).o Dell Storage Arrays & networks.o Critical network infrastructure to include but not limited to Palo Alto NGFW, SonicWALL NGFW, Cisco switching and Ubiquiti wireless networks.o MFA infrastructure to include but not limited to RSA SecurID, Microsoft MFA, and Okta.o Regular system and data backups with Barracuda & Cohesity appliances.o Hybrid Azure AD environment.o Disaster Recovery solutions for mission critical systems to ensure business continuity.o Multiple Office 365 tenants and Office 365 suite apps to include but not limited to Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams and OneDrive.o Video surveillance systems for corporate facilities and vehicles to include but not limited to Cradlepoint routers, PRO-vision IP cameras and Exacqvision NVRs.o Facilities access control systems across all corporate offices.*Minimum Qualifications & Skills: *A' . Must be a United States CitizenA' . Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field is requiredA' . 7+ years of systems administration or engineering experience.A' . Microsoft MCP or higher certification required.A' . Cisco CCNA or equivalent certification required.A' . CompTIA Security+ is required.A' . Deep technical knowledge of networking including but not limited to TCP/IP layer 2 & 3, subnetting, network ARPs and ping/traceroute.A' . Expertise in Palo Alto firewalls and Cisco switching.A' . Expertise in configuring Microsoft Group Policy.A' . Experience configuring Site-to-Site VPN tunnels.A' . Experience managing and securing Microsoft Windows Server.A' . Experience configuring and managing Azure resources.A' . Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Intune, and Azure Virtual Desktop is plus._KG&P (KACE, MVM, TPG) LLC is a federal contractor.
