Azure also offers innovative signal processing solutions to challenging problems in the realm of radio frequency spectrum awareness.*What will you do?*Azure Summit Technology is currently seeking an Agile Scrum Master. This position will be located at our Fairfax, VA, facility with occasional overnight travel to our Melbourne, FL, office, and other customer sites as required.The selected candidate will work in various agile frameworks (such as Scrum and Kanban) to support multiple projects in their efforts and product deliveries. You will coach and advise cross-disciplinary teams as well as provide leadership on desired Scrum processes, procedures, values, interactions and drive continuous improvement. Candidate should have a firm grasp of agile practices and the ability to effectively manage and mentor development teams. Duties include, but are not limited to the following:* Enable teams to become self-organizing, cross-functional, and accountable while assisting them to achieve their Sprint plan by facilitating Agile events, relentlessly removing impediments, and resolving issues outside of the team's control* Lead the planning and execution of development and delivery of efforts for one or more products to a high standard* Manage and assist with requirements gathering, design, development, and implementation of the various software products under your purview* Train new employees and team members on Agile practices* Play a key role in resolving business and team conflicts with active involvement in technical matters, finding gaps and ensuring users involvement in business decisions and description of the business flow* Work closely with Product Owners and other stakeholders to effectively communicate and execute against their needs*Basic Requirements: ** US citizenship - due to the nature of the work and contract requirement* Ability to obtain a SECRET or TOP SECRET security clearance - due to contract requirement* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field* Minimum 7 years' experience understanding and implementing Agile values, principles, and practices (ie, Kanban, Scrum)*Preferred Requirements: ** Experience working with stakeholders for backlog item prioritization, grooming, and understanding of epic/stories/tasks* Experience with JIRA to create/enhance dashboards, monitor progress of sprint/workflow, and provide statuses to stakeholders in a timely manner* Experience using risk and business impact analysis and reporting skills* Certified Scrum Master or Kanban certification preferred* Hands-on experience with tools like MS Project, MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and SharePoint* Knowledge of DevOps tools and practicesAzure Summit Technology is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action/Veterans/Disabled Employer.
