_We are looking for a passionate, ethuastic, and committed Wellness Director for an outstanding Assisted Living facility. As Wellness Manager, you not only make a difference in the lives of their elderly residents and their families, but the employees who you manage and develop make a difference also. If you are an energetic leader, then we'd love to hear from you about managing our Assisted Living Facility by ensuring the appropriate medical and social needs of our memory care residents, ensuring proper staffing and complying with regulations._*What we can offer you: ** 401(k) and matching* Health Insurance* Vision Insurance* Dental Insurance* Life Insurance* Paid Time Off* Referral Program* Tuition Reimbursement* Employee Assistance Program*Essential Duties: ** Knowledge of principles and processes for providing resident and personal services such as conducting needs assessments and meeting quality standards of service.* Knowledge of principles, methods and procedures for diagnosis and treatment of physical and mental issues with residents.* Knowledge of nursing care principles including symptoms, treatment alternatives, drug properties and interactions and preventative health care measures.* Strong knowledge of the 5 rights of medication administration--The Right: Drug, Dose, Route, Patient, Time.* Ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong with a resident.* Ability to listen to and comprehend information and ideas presented from residents, family members, co-workers, visitors and medical professionals.* Ability to communicate ideas and information to residents, family members, co-workers, visitors and medical professionals.* Ability to make decisions and solve problems by analyzing information available.* Ability to control expenses within approved budget and knowledge of spenddown budgets.* Ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks effectively and efficiently.* Ability to work within defined time constraints.* Ability to take initiative and follow through.* Ability to maintain accurate records and prepare reports.*What we are looking for: ** Valid Virginia Licensed Practical License* Minimum of four years in supervisory role* Must be considerate and accepting of the aged, frail, and disabled person* Excellent communication skillsJob Type: Full-timePay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per yearBenefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Dental insurance* Free parking* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid time off* Referral program* Tuition reimbursement* Vision insuranceWeekly schedule:* Monday to FridayWork Location: One location
