Come join us and find out what it's all about!*Under the supervision of the community Living Coordinator, the Community Living House Manger is responsible for maintaining a safe, supportive, peaceful home environment which fosters growth and development to enable people with intellectual and Developmental Disabilities reach their highest level of independence and live inclusive lives in their community. He/she will manage the day-to-day home operations and activities of the home to comply with all rules, regulations, and policies.The Community Living House Manager will be responsible for ensuring services centered on daily living skills, proper nutrition, upkeep/maintenance of the home, medication management and transportation for the people supported.1. In conjunction with the Community Living Coordinator, responsible for the supervision of all Community Living Services Staff, including Awake Overnight Staff, as well as On-call staff and Agency Staff assigned to work in the home. Will ensure that all staff complete their assigned duties in a timely manner and at the appropriate time. Conduct regular house meetings.2. Will coordinate the schedule of all staff working in the home. Responsible for filling in/working a shift in the event he/she is unable to secure coverage. May flex schedule on an as needed basis with the approval of the Community Living Coordinator.3. Responsible for the management of peoples' medications. Responsible for ensuring and maintaining all required medications and medical supplies. Will supervise Medication Administration by staff and ensure that the 3-Way check is completed at each medications administration time. Ensure that the Medication Administration Record (MAR) is documented after administration of each medication. Will call in refills of medications in a timely manner. Will assist with medical appointments as needed and/or required by the Community Living Coordinator.4. Will ensure that each person is supported under the recommendations of the Individual Plan (IP). Will ensure goals are implemented and documented in CIMS on a regular basis. Will ensure all incidents/issues are reported in CIMS in a timely manner.5. Will ensure that the home environment is clean, neat and presentable at all times according to agency policies and regulatory agencies, ie, licensing via the Office of Health Care Quality (OHCQ)6. Responsible for the management of all peoples' personal funds and the house Petty Cash. Will ensure people have money for weekend activities, transportation and for their personal their personal hygiene supplies.7. In conjunction with the Community Living Coordinator, ensure staff attend their required trainings to ensure their certifications remain current at all times. Will keep his/her required trainings up to date.8. Will maintain contact with families and keep them abreast of all happenings involving their family member. Act as liaison to all agencies involved in services for the people living in the home, ie, Vocational and day programs, physician offices, etc. Shall be onsite/available during all home inspections.9. Perform other duties as directed/required*Qualifications: *Bachelor's degree in relevant field; or an associate degree in relevant field plus two years of relevant experience; or a High School Diploma plus four years of relevant experience. Experience must include leadership responsibilities in the areas of documentation and people care. Must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid driver's license.*Physical Requirements: *The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the functions of this job. Must be able to withstand prolonged periods of standing, frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pulling and pushing.*The Arc Montgomery County requires all employees to provide proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19*Salary: $18.57 - $19.51*EOE M/F/Vet/Disabled*Job Type: Full-timePay: $51,174.00 - $53,764.00 per year
