*Information Assurance Security Specialist*LinTech Global is seeking an experienced Information Assurance / Security Specialist.In this role you will work with individuals from a variety of technical and functional disciplines to provide guidance on solutions that meet overall business needs while also embedding necessary security controls from end-to-end.Location: 4800 Mark Center Drive Alexandria Virginia 22305-1500*Duties of this position will include but is not limited to the below: ** Maintain and update DoD 8410 Workforce Program and DoD 8570 Compliancy including privileged accounts, waivers and certifications* Create technical documentation for working SOP's to help develop security solutions and requirements* Document, maintain and update weekly IAVMS and Taskords/Opords* Ensure that plans of actions and milestones (POA&Ms) or remediation plans are in place for vulnerabilities identified during risk assessments, audits, inspections, etc.* Maintain and update tickets for Spillages, onboarding procedures and various accounts (NIPR, SIPR, Virtual, etc.)* Scan, monitor and report vulnerabilities on the network to system administrators using the Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) per USCYBERCOM TASKORD 20-0020A' . Ensure compliance with Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) settings by running tools like Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) and ACAS.A' . Review authorization and assurance documents to confirm that the level of risk is within acceptable limits for each software application, system, and networkA' . Support necessary compliance activities (eg, ensure that system security configuration guidelines are followed, compliance monitoring occurs).A' . Support the implementation of the information technology (IT) security controls, security authorization documents, and participates in system audits.A' . Administrator and monitor the agency implementation of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) steps and activities throughout system life-cycle*Basic Qualifications: ** Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience encompassing information technology and cyber security / information assurance:* Experience with information assurance and cyber security principles including security risk analysis, security testing, communications/network security, computer security and other areas of Information Assurance* Experience with ACAS and SCAP* Working knowledge of DoD 8410 and DoD 8570* Working knowledge of Unix/Linux and Windows operation systems structures and internals (eg, process management, directory structure, installed applications)* Wide range of knowledge across IT disciplines including software, hardware, and networks (ports and protocols)* Proven effective communication skills (written, verbal and presentation)* Proven effective teamwork skills*Required: ** *IAM Level I Certification is Required (Security+ CE, CND, CAP, or GSLC)** *Have an Active Top Secret (TS) Security Clearance*Preferred:* IAM Level II Certification (CAP, CASP+ CE, CISM, CISSP or Associate, GSLC or CCISO)*Travel Requirement: *0% - 10% (will need to be onsite and will be requested to be in the office on an as needed basis, at minimum)*Any additional info regarding work environment (eg core hours, shift work, remote work, flex time): *Office Hours: 5:30AM ET-7:00PM ET, Core hours: 9:00AM ET- 3:00PM ET*Company Description*LinTech Global is an award-winning, ISO 9001:2008 certified, 8(a) certified small business and GSA contract holder providing diversified Information Technology services to both Civilian and Defense agencies.
