*Project Manager I**Location and Travel: *Work shall be performed from Company's offices in Annapolis, Maryland and Employee shall be traveling for approximately 25% of the time and shall provide the following services throughout the United States.*Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include the Following: ** Act as technical lead/support for solar projects.* Design 100kW to 5MW AC solar/PV systems using AutoCAD and other tools.* Run system production modeling using PVsyst, SAM and other tools.* Develop and track project schedules, budgets and costs.* Handle invoice approvals and change order requests.* Perform technical project management.* Maintain a detailed and organized document library for each project under management.* Perform site inspections in the field.* Perform initial site visits in the field.* Complete and submit utility interconnection applications.* Coordinate with contractors to complete design, installation and commissioning maintaining budget and schedule.* Coordinate with utility to complete interconnection upgrade design, installation and verification testing maintaining budget and schedule.* Interface with vendors and subcontractors.* Oversee system commissioning and certification.* Support working relationships with electrical contractors, business partners, and customers.* Support Energy Support Services in their efforts to coordinate Operation and Maintenance (O&M) activities for projects under ownership.* Assist in training new team members and act as a consultant when they have questions or issues.* Assist in the development of workflows for the engineering team and company.* Maintain a valid NABCEP Certification.* Other duties and responsibilities as requested.*Desired Background and/or Experience: ** 4 year Degree in related technical field; Minimum 4 years solar industry experience; NABCEP certified PV Installation Professional preferred.* Minimum 2 years experience as the main point of contact with subcontractors and vendors on 1MW+ solar projects.* Proficiency in AutoCAD, PVsyst and other technical software.* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Adobe and Outlook and proven ability to learn new software programs*What you need to be successful: ** Strong organizational skills.* Strong written and oral communication skills.* Self-starter, and naturally motivated to work hard and accomplish goals.Employer will not sponsor Visas for this position.New Energy Equity is an equal opportunity employer.
