*Job Description A$ cents A cents ' not A cents € oe Concierge Director**Job Summary *Our Concierge Director works closely with the Area Director to maintain the A$ cents A cents ' not A "hubA$ cents A cents ' not A' of the building lobby and upholding our 5 Diamond Customer Service Standard while carrying out all workplace expectations*Reports To*: Area Director of Operations*Compensation: ** Starting at $48,000* Paid sick leave, paid vacation & Health care options*Responsibilities: ** Assist in hiring, training and mentoring a team that will follow the company's mission and brand standards.* Supervise staff, coordinate team meetings/trainings, and manage staff schedules to ensure desk coverage.* Create operating systems and checklists to provide a well-serviced and clean facility.* Complete thorough daily facility inspections and effectively communicate operation malfunctions promptly to building management.* Promptly answer, record, and complete all resident requests, phone calls, questions, or concerns. Coordinate all facility reservations.* Facilitate contractor check-ins and check-outs and cultivate relationships with the company's preferred vendors.* Assist in the preparation of the community events required by the building* Stay abreast of industry standards, technology and trends.* Perform other duties as assigned and which relate to the success of the property.* This position will be required to work entirely at the front desk.* Follows all HR and Risk Management Company Policies* Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned* Covers shifts for team members to ensure proper staffing requirements are maintained* Use Company Approved Team Scheduler to ensure payroll budget compliance*Minimum Job Requirements: ** Professional background in customer service and hospitality management* Must have an outgoing personality* Must be hospitality driven and offer any necessary assistance to residents and guests* Must be able to coach and mentor team members* Must possess the ability to multi-task* Must possess ability to work in a team environment* Must be able to proactively learn about all events, happenings, restaurants, etc in the local neighborhood*Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required** Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) and the Internet* Proven organizational skills that exemplify attention to detail from beginning to follow-up on each project undertaken* Effective interpersonal communication skills (written and oral) with ability to engage positively with clients* Diplomatically handle delicate and challenging client concerns* Ability to lift 50 poundsJob Type: Full-timePay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per yearBenefits:* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Paid time off* Vision insuranceSchedule:* 8 hour shift* Day shift* Evening shift* Holidays* Monday to Friday* On call* Weekend availabilityAbility to commute/relocate:* Arlington, VA 22201: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Experience:* Customer service: 1 year (Required)Shift availability:* Day Shift (Preferred)* Night Shift (Preferred)* Overnight Shift (Preferred)Work Location: One location
