Knowesis is currently seeking an experienced Public Health Educator (Remote) to support the mission of the Army Public Health Center within the Health and Wellness Division. The Public Health Educator will serve as the subject matter expert in required areas of expertise and provide industry best practice solutions to the complex health concerns being addressed.*This position requires a Public Trust Clearance and requires US Citizenship (applicants without proof of US citizenship will not be considered due to the position's security clearance requirement).** The Job Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: ** Evaluate and provide recommendations for Health Education program development, management, administration, and quality assurance and evaluation* Create Health Education program effectiveness using training surveys and other user feedback* Lead the implementation of Health Education training initiatives to include, but not limited to, Charting the Course, Tobacco Cessation, and other broad-based health education training* Develop Health Education initiative and product content in a variety of Public Health focus areas, to include, but not limited to, Tobacco Cessation, Healthy Living, Military Health Promotion Program Basics, and other Health Promotion topics of Army significance* Prepare Public Health technical reports, business process documentation, oral reports, charts, tables, and/or professional quality presentations* This is a remote position requiring less than 10% travel*Required Skills and Qualifications: ** 10 years of detailed experience in the field of Health Promotion* Master Certified Health Education Specialist (MCHES) required* Knowledge of education, communication, and marketing principles* Understanding of web and social media communication* Knowledge of public health and behavioral change theories and frameworks* Excellent written and verbal communication skills* Excellent organizational skills* Excellent time management skills* Strong interpersonal skills* Strong project management skills* Ability to pivot and adapt in response to rapidly changing situations* Ability to work independently once given direction* Ability to lead small groups toward time-sensitive goals* Ability to work well with others* Ability to plan, coordinate and execute an Army or DoD training course (in person or virtual) using Army/DoD processes, platforms, and tools*Preferred Qualifications: ** Experience with Public Health technical reports, business process documentation, oral reports, charts, tables, and/or professional quality presentations* Experience using Microsoft Office products*Required Education: ** Master of Education, Master of Health Education or Master of Public Health, or related degree with a concentration in health education or community health education or above.Knowesis is an Equal Opportunity Employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identify, national origin, disability, or veteran status.Job Type: Full-time
