A$ cents A cents ' not A cents € oe The MetroStar People & Culture Team*You're a great fit if you: ** Use and troubleshoot Windows workstation but also Mac or Linux from time to time.* Like a team to bounce ideas off of but also reaching out to offer help* Enjoy meeting new folks, discussing their challenges, and finding ways to overcome challenges to work.* Are passionate about finding new tools and processes to provide higher quality service and support*You'll love our opportunity if you have: * (This is the stuff you *MUST have* to be a fit)* 3+ years of experience supporting Windows workstations in professional capacity* 3+ years using and supporting Microsoft Office products* 2+ years supporting accounts using Active Directory or Office 365* knowledge of Operating System fundamentals to include bare-metal installation, configuration, troubleshooting and maintenance* the ability to diagnose workstation hardware, accessory and software issues and implement a solution* an understanding of ticket systems, escalation, and how to triage incidents and requests* a bachelor's degree in an IT related field OR at a minimum, an associate degree (IT related degree) while actively working towards obtaining a bachelor's degree* a Secret level security clearance, or the ability to obtain*We'll REALLY love it if you have: * (This is the bonus stuff that makes you stand out)* an A+ or ITIL Certification* experience with Macs and Linux desktops* experience with Endpoint Deployment and Management Tools (System Center, Microsoft Intune/Office 365, Jamf)* supported a software development userbase* experience with minor datacenter/server hardware tasks such as running cables, racking equipment, and managing inventory*What your day will look like: ** You'll work with IT Operations personnel of all tier levels to discuss issues and initiatives, load balance assignments, and communicate on work progress on user requests for hardware, software, and general requests.* You'll also provide hands-on and remote assistance to other users and team members to troubleshoot issues and implement necessary solutions.* You'll provide day-to-day support of workstations and line of business applications both on-premise and cloud (SaaS) systems.* You'll train new employees on basics of their IT hardware and software systems as well as get them comfortable with multi-factor authentication* You'll investigate systems or process problem areas, as well as and research and deliver solutions towards our theme of continuous improvement*The Admin Stuff: *In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.*The Legal Stuff: *MetroStar Systems is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
