To learn more, please visit our website at chandramd.com.*The Position*We are looking for a Neurofeedback and Clinic Assistant to administer a broad range of services to our patients.This position will offer opportunities to learn about and apply principles of psychiatry, neuroscience, and integrative medicine in a clinical setting under the supervision of a board-certified psychiatrist. While there are opportunities for growth and development in our clinic, this position would also be a good foundation for those who are planning on pursuing careers in medicine, nursing, psychology, neuroscience, mental health care, social work, or other related fields.In addition to supporting the neurotherapy program, this positive involves supporting the integrative psychiatric services of our clinic through administrative work and long term projects.Please note that this position will begin at part time and build to full time.Additionally, there may be weekend and evening hours.*If you are interested in this position, please: ** *Submit a thoughtful cover letter** *Complete the online assessments on Indeed** *Submit the phone assessment on Indeed*You will receive a separate email with instructions to complete the phone and online assessments. *Applications without a cover letter and assessments will not be considered.**Responsibilities: *Conducting initial qEEG and functional brain testing.Running neurofeedback training sessions for individual clients.Being familiar with individual clients' qEEG and how it correlates with symptoms.Participating in meetings with supervisors to review patients' progress, concerns, and updated qEEG maps.Providing other clinical services to patients under the direction of a licensed psychiatrist.Maintaining supplies and equipment for patient care.Providing education about Neurofeedback and Neurotherapy to potential patients.Helping staff in creating forms for data collection, training guides, and materials for presentations and conferences.Performing administrative tasks, including maintaining patients' files, dispensing nutritional supplements, collecting payments for services, and email and phone support for patients.*Qualifications: *Bachelor's degree in psychology, neuroscience, cognitive science, biology, social work, or related area.Master's degree is beneficial but not required.Work or volunteer experience in a mental health setting is a plus.*Because this position involves significant training and education in neurotherapy techniques, we strongly prefer applicants who are interested in working with us for 2 or more years.**Our ideal candidate is: *Highly organized and detail-oriented.Empathetic and patient, especially with those who are chronically ill.Interested in learning new material in a challenging and creative environment.Open to emerging and holistic treatment modalities.Interested in wellness and committed to self-care._*Salary will be based on education and prior training.*_Job Type: Full-timeMedical specialties:* PsychiatrySchedule:* Monday to Friday* Weekend availabilityCOVID-19 considerations:All patients and staff are required to wear masks in the clinic.
