We are looking for someone with great attention to detail who is ready to work using existing methods and programs, but can bring new fresh ideas for better, newer, and more creative solutions.*Position Summary*The Events Coordinator position is a critical component of the Marketing team. The person in this role will work to communicate and coordinate all conferences, tradeshows, and in-house events. A successful candidate should have extremely strong interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as a passion for marketing and creativity. The Events Coordinator will:* Manage Tradeshow and Conference execution (registration, sponsorships, logistics, etc.)* Manage social media content related to conferences and events* Manage pre and post show communications via email marketingPlease submit your resume and portfolio.*Responsibilities*The successful candidate will participate in the planning and coordination of duties leading up to, during and following events and conferences, including (but not limited to):* Coordinating with sales team on conference strategy* Conducting research on new conference opportunities* Acting as the Point of Contact for conference registrations, sponsorships, logistics, and payments* Traveling to and attending conferences approximately once a month* Organizing and managing conference materials such as pop-up displays, flooring, literature, etc.* Developing social media content and strategy for individual conferences* Developing email marketing content and strategy for pre-and post-conference follow-up* Coordinating lead capture strategy for individual conferences* Maintaining messaging and branding consistency across platforms* Completing special projects as assigned* Assisting with marketing projects as needed* Complying with First Line Technology brand standards and strategy* Meeting professional obligations through efficient work habits such as, meeting deadlines, honoring schedules, coordinating resources and meetings in an effective and timely manner, and demonstrate respect for others* Complying with the basic philosophy of helping the company to maintain aA$ cents A cents ' not A "continual improvementA$ cents A cents ' not A' culture.* Ensuring compliance of all relevant procedures with ISO 9001 and ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) requirements.*Requirements, Education, Training/Experience: ** BachelorA$ cents A cents ' not A cents " cents s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or Public Relations; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience* 3+ years of experience in related field (preferred)* Experience with Tradeshow Marketing and Event Marketing (required)* Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (ie, Photoshop, Premiere Rush) or other media editing software (preferred)* Excellent verbal and written communication skills* Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships and outgoing personality* Must be able to plan, prioritize, and juggle multiple projects at the same time* Basic understanding of marketing automation systems (HubSpot) and Customer Relationship Management systems (NetSuite)* Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, driven environment*Seniority Level*Associate*Employment Type*Full time*Industry*Manufacturing*Job Functions*MarketingJob Type: Full-timePay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per yearBenefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Paid time off* Professional development assistance* Vision insuranceSchedule:* Monday to FridaySupplemental pay types:* Bonus payAbility to commute/relocate:* Fredericksburg, VA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Experience:* Marketing: 2 years (Preferred)Work Location: One location
