*MAJOR RESPONSIBILITY*: Responsible for bank-wide payroll processing and for assisting with bank-wide Human Resource Management. Assist the Vice/President-Corporate Secretary as needed.*REPORTS TO*: Senior Vice President, Director of Human Resources*ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS*:1. Processing bank-wide payroll:a. Enters, maintains, and/or processes information in the payroll system; information may include employeesA$ cents A cents ' not A cents " cents hourly rates, salaries, commissions, bonuses or other compensation, time worked, paid leave and holidays, deductions and withholding, address changes, and other information.b. Ensures proper processing of payroll deductions for taxes, benefits, wage garnishments, and other deductions.c. Reports payroll journal entries to accounting for general ledger.d. Issues, or reissues, physical or replacement checks or direct deposits due to payroll errors or final discharge.e. Audits federal and state payroll tax deposits by the HRIS system.f. Performs other duties as assigned.2. Human Resources administration:a. Recruitment and onboarding news hiresb. Regular communications with supervisors managing time attendance in the HRIS systemc. Regular auditing for benefits enrollment and payroll deductions accuracyd. Assist the HR Team in preparing for Open Enrollment3. Acts as backup to Receptionist, when necessary4. Complies with regulations, policies, procedures and applicable laws.a. Complies with the Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering Policy (BSA/AML) as it applies to the position. Attends annual BSA/AML training.5. Acts responsible at all times while ensuring the security and integrity of bank systems, information and data to protect customer confidentiality and privacy.6. Performs other duties as assigned.*SKILLS: *Strong organizational skills with the ability to establish a course of action to ensure the work is completed efficiently, proactively prioritizes assignments, keen ability to multi-task in a fast paced working environment, and has strong attention to detail. Strong follow-up skills. Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn payroll software.*KNOWLEDGE: *High School diploma or equivalent. Experience in human resources, payroll, bookkeeping or accounting preferred. Must have at least two years of demonstrated past work experience with data input. Must be proficient in word processing and spreadsheet applications.*PROBLEM SOLVING: *Ability to analyze data for accuracy and reliability. Work independently and able to meet A$ cents A cents ' not A "quick responseA$ cents A cents ' not A' deadlines.*HUMAN RELATIONS: *Daily contact with staff and contact with customers, shareholders and vendors. Must have the ability to interact with all types of individuals. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.*ACCOUNTABILITY: *Responsible for processing bank-wide payroll and providing clerical support. Accountable for compliance with regulations and the accurate entry and monitoring of data. Responsible for the accurate and timely completion of all assigned duties.*HUMAN RESOURCES: * No supervision of others*PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS: * Needs the ability to:1. Ability to operate a motor vehicle2. Express and exchange ideas by means of written and oral communication3. Frequently communicate with staff and managers who have inquiries about time and attendance, paid time off, compensation, etc. Must be able to identify, discern, and exchange accurate information in these situations;4. Compile and analyze data and make decisions;5. Exercise independent judgment to develop objectives and plans;6. Ability to work in a detailed-oriented environment;7. Strong organizational skills;8.
