Remote Outpatient Therapist

Responsible for providing Clinical Comprehensive Assessments (CCAs), and individual and family therapy for a diverse caseload including adults, adolescents, teens, children and families experiencing mental health issues, substance use disorders, and opioid use disorders.Must hold a License in the state of VirginiaResponsibilities for Outpatient Therapist* Maintain confidentiality of records relating to clients' treatment* Gather information about community mental health needs and resources that could be used in conjunction with therapy* Plan outreach and referral activities in surrounding communities* Plan and conduct programs to prevent substance abuse or improve community health and counseling services* Assess clients' mental condition based on review of client information, interviews, observation, tests, and collaboration with other staff members* Serve as a client advocate to coordinate required services or to resolve emergency problems in crisis situations* Develop and implement treatment plans based on CCA and ongoing progress or lack thereof* Conduct initial assessments and refer patients, clients, or family members to community resources or to specialists as necessary* Coordinate with professional supports within Changing Lives Therapeutic Service, LLC and other professional supports such as primary care physicians as needed* Make treatment and social service referrals to appropriate agencies that support client goals* Create, maintain, and submit accurate records and documents in a timely manner* Maintain current knowledge of assessment and treatment techniques, criminal justice systems, and community resources using in-service training, seminars, workshops, and publications* Attend supervision and clinical meetings* Practice within full compacity of clinician license and competenciesJob Types: Full-time, Part-time, ContractPay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hourSchedule:* Monday to FridayEducation:* Master's (Required)Work Location: One location
