And, more than anything, it's about bringing people together.If you're ready to be a part of our team, we encourage you to apply.*Job Description**$1,000 Sign on Bonus*Brookfield Properties has an immediate need for a Senior Facilities Technician on site at The Mall in Columbia in Columbia, MD.The Senior Facilities Technician works under the direction of the Operations Manager to perform a wide variety of maintenance functions required to maintain the physical plant of the shopping center.Overall, we seek qualities that display our company's core values which are Humility, Attitude, Do the Right Thing, Together and Own it.*Responsibilities** Operates walk behind and ride on scrubbers* Operates hi-lift, freight lift, and trash compactors* Maintains shopping center vehicle fleet* Prepares schedules for preventive maintenance programs* Maintains mechanical/HVAC equipment* Prepares and input budget information* Replaces equipment when needed* Maintains inventory records* Communicates with tenants and management* Assists supervisor in personnel recommendations to management* Coordinates special work assignments with outside contractors* Assists in personnel training* Other duties as assigned*Qualifications** High School Diploma or GED required* 5 Years in a related field* Maintenance/HVAC license through City or State government* Valid Driver's License requiredThe physical demands described herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
