Job Description:

Are you an experienced Configuration/Data Configuration Analysts who wants to support the Distributed Common Ground System - Navy (DCGS-N) mission? Would you like to be part of Fortune World's Most Admired Company?

About the Role:

CM subject matter expert to provide hands-on DCGS-N system support in the areas of configuration audits, status accounting, and CM reportingfor DCGS-N POR and related developmentconfigurations and/or systembaselineslocated at NIWCPAC.Assists in technical documentation preparation and review.Coordinateswith the DCGS-N CM and SSA Leads and worksclosely with DCGS-N colleagues at NIWC LANT, PMW 120, and support contractor companies. Participates in various meetings as a CM representative to include program reviews, technical reviews and exchange meetings.

Tasking will include:Maintaining the BOM fornotedbaselines, Tracking DADMS IDs, LDAs, Licenses,etcfor noted baselines and informing the SSA Lead of upcoming expirations. Obtain required media for local baselinesusingestablished DCGS-N CM Software request and/or duplication processes.Manage deliverables for 30/60/90% drafts of SIG, SAM, SOM, and Stage 1, 2, 3 SVDs.Submit required documents inCMPro(SIGs, SVDs, SOMs, SAMs, Test Plans, Test Reports, etc.) for noted baselines. Initiate IAU and baseline upgrade process both internally and for presentation to the SET or IRB (quad,jiraticket, ERB meeting with tracking and notes capture, IA-SVD submission, package media for submission).

Must be a trusted Data Transfer Agent (DTA) capable of handling and couriering classified material both locally and on TDY. Responsible for software delivery to, from, and within NIWC PAC facilities.

Media custodian for classified media Data transfers

Authorized Transfer Agent (ATA) (any transfers of any classification on or off SCI networks) duties DTA duties (SECRET to SECRET or SECRET tounclass)

Owning CDTR (classified media hardware, four GENSER hard drives that are used, plus one CDTR for non-hard drive (i.e., DVD,BlueRay) transfers) and then submitting DTA logs for each CDTR every month

What You'll Get to Do:
  • Support configuration management planning.
  • Describe provisions for configuration identification, change control, configuration status accounting, and configuration audits.
  • Support configuration planning.
  • Identifies and maintains the original configuration of requirements documentation, design documentation, software, and related documentation.
  • Responsible for configuration change control.
  • Supports the change process so that only approved and validated changes are incorporated into product documents and related software.
  • Responsible for configuration status accounting.
  • Tracks all problems and changes in product documents and software and reports changes and current configuration.
  • Responsible for configuration audits.
  • Supports audits to verify that requirements of all baselines have been met.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:
  • US Citizenship with a minimum of Secret Clearance
  • BS or BA degree such as computer science, engineering, information science, or a similar discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in the field or in a related area
  • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • Highly experience computer user of configuration and change control software, word processing and data entry software
  • Able to lead and direct the work of others.
  • Seasoned technical individual contributor
  • Works independently with limited supervision
  • Able to manage projects/processes
  • Able to resolve difficult and sometimes complex problems
  • Effective communicator able to influences others regarding system design, solutions, and procedures
  • Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Familiar with Agile/DevOps Processes

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
  • DAWIA Sys Engr Level II or INCOSE SEP certification
  • Familiar with MBSE
  • 10+ years of experience in the field or in a related area
