We are seeking a passionate Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to focus on the overall reliability of a complex and ever-changing system with a fast-growing user base. Your responsibilities include maintaining complex computer systems by writing code to automate software releases, monitor systems, and detect and fix problems before users even know there's an issue. You use these skills to improve site performance overall reliability, where the rubber meets the road, doing work that matters for some of the U.S. Government's most critical missions, and utilizing the latest technologies in Cloud Computing, AI/ML, and DevSecOps.

As our Systems Architect you will have the opportunity to:
  • Architect and design, develop, and deploy GSR systems
  • Define system solutions based on user/client needs, cost, and required integration with existing applications, systems, or platforms. Design, configure, operate and perform maintenance on networking and computer systems - including hardware, software, web portals, internet and intranet connections, firewalls, servers, and security
  • Analyze the computer system's needs
  • Develop effective user interfaces, networks, and hardware and software systems
  • Customize systems to meet specific requirements
  • Oversee and implement backup solutions for all systems
  • Thrive in a fast-moving environment and enjoy learning new technologies and overcoming new challenges

You'll Bring These Qualifications:
  • Active TS/SCI (required)
  • Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent (Master's preferred)
  • A minimum 5 years of related experience
  • Strong grasp of Linux
  • Automating tasks by writing quality code
  • Strong coding skills (Java, Javascript, shell scripting, Python)
  • Configuration managements tools
  • Monitoring complex systems (Nagios, ElasticSearch, Grafana, etc.)
  • Automation tools (Jenkins, GitLab)
  • Source-control systems (Git)
  • Familiarity with container orchestration frameworks such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Cloud computing environments (Amazon Web Services)
  • Information Assurance/DoD 8570 certification (like Security+).
  • Willing to share on-call responsibilities to include coming into work during non-business hours to troubleshoot customer issues

These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have:
  • Active Top Secret SCI with recent polygraph
  • Experience with SAFe Agile Methodologies
  • AWS Certification
  • Experience with Cloud Computing and Hybrid On-Prem solutions
  • Experience mentoring team members in developing and maintaining key infrastructure in secure environments

Pay Range: The proposed salary range for this position is $86,200-$176,600. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
