CACI is seeking a cleared Enterprise Senior Network Engineer (SNE)who will be responsible for the hands-on day-to-day engineering and administration of the C5ISR Center Defense Research and Engineering Network (DREN) enclave, Closed Restricted Networks (CRN), and support to sub-enclave SMEs and Laboratory Managers.

What You'll Get to Do:
  • Responsible for troubleshooting of physical, TCP/IP, OSI model, and Cisco IOS.
  • Responsible for protocols and the internet protocol suite.
  • Responsible for log monitoring, discovering anomalies, and communicating issues to technical and non-technical personnel.
  • Responsible for VPN technologies, DMZ, and IPSEC tunnels.


More About the Role:

Remote options available, but candidate should be local to the DMV area to attend meetings with the team when needed.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:
  • An active DoD Secret clearance.
  • Expert experience in the secure implementation, deployment, administration, and customer support of network hardware in an operational environment.
  • Expert enterprise network hardware/software administration including next generation firewalls (e.g. Cisco ASA, Cisco Firepower, Cisco FTD, Cisco FMC), layer 2 and 3 switches (e.g. CISCO Catalyst 9K; Cisco Nexus 9K, 7K), routers (e.g. Cisco ASR/ISRs), Cisco Identity Service Engine (ISE), Cisco AnyConnect.
  • Significant experience in network architecture and defense in depth design, development, and deployment of enterprise infrastructure (e.g. security stack, backbone management, BGP, VPLS, MPLS, ISIS).
  • Army Cybersecurity Training and Certification Program AR 25-2-6 . Most common for this position would be a (Security+ or CISSP) and (CCNP or CCIE).


These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
  • Experience with packet captures for multi-interfaces and translating findings.
  • Experience in SNMP version 3 and network monitoring tools.
  • Experience with DOD infrastructure.
  • Experience with secure configuration to DISA STIGs and Checklists.
  • Experience creating and maintaining detailed network diagrams.
  • Experience in Cisco Digital Network Architecture (DNA) and Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure.

Pay Range: The proposed salary range for this position is $65,300-$134,000. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
