What You'll Get to Do:

Do you have a strong interest in designing FPGAs or embedded systems? This may be the perfect position for you. As an FPGA development intern, you will be able to work on a multi-disciplinary team and have the opportunity to gain knowledge and experience designing FPGA systems, use HDL Languages (VHDL, Verilog) and work in simulation environments such as ModelSim or Riviera.

More About the Role:

Design FPGA systems in VHDL.

Debug FPGA systems using in-circuit debug tools (like chipscope)

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Electrical or Computer Engineering student who is passionate about solving tough problems in the FPGA and embedded world.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearance
  • Must be currently enrolled in High School, or a Full time Undergraduate, graduate or doctorate student.


These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Strong interest in FPGA design and/or embedded systems.
  • Experience working with VHDL. Working knowledge of system verilog, C++ and/or C.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred, not required
  • Previous internships/co-op or other work experience, leadership and teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills and activities (professional/community/extracurricular)
