What You'll Get to Do:

CACI is currently looking for an experienced SharePoint Developer Team Lead. This candidate will lead a small team of SharePoint developers on a variety of projects and taskings for both Navy SharePoint customers in Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) and internal CACI SharePoint customers. Candidate will advise customers and program managers on best possible solutions with given timelines and budgets, provide ROM (Rough Order of Magnitude) estimates for resources and time needed to satisfy requirements, as well as provide best estimates for LOE (Level of Effort) support from SharePoint team. Candidate will mentor, train, and collaborate with SharePoint developers on how to develop creative solutions that compliment each customer's established business processes. Dedication to collaborative problem solving and communication, efficient solution design, and positive customer outcomes is essential.

In this role, you'll get to:

  • Lead a matrixed team of SharePoint developers that create SharePoint and Power Platform solutions for multiple customers in both DoD and GCC-High 365 cloud environments.
  • Mentor and train junior SharePoint team members in developing and/or modifying SharePoint front end customizations and Power Platform solutions to support customer's business processes and requirements.
  • Manage all project forecasting and team work procurement for the SharePoint team, and negotiate proposed changes to SharePoint team forecasts with Program Managers based on emerging customer requirements, available resources, and budgetary constraints.
  • Collaborate with team to design immersive, UI/UX friendly SharePoint Online Modern site pages and Power Apps applications and forms.
  • Advise both Navy customers and contractor colleagues on best practices in the areas of modern knowledge management, SharePoint, Power Platform, and other available 365 applications.
  • Work directly with customers and stakeholders to gather requirements in Product Owner role.


More About the Role:

  • Lead and guide SharePoint team in the development of user friendly and visually appealing SharePoint Online applications in Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and SharePoint Framework (SPFx).
  • Brief Program Managers of status and progress of all SharePoint taskings.
  • Advise customers on costs and available features of premium applications and license add-ons in Microsoft 365.
  • Advise customers on their best choices for features to suit their requirements given available resources, time, and budget.
  • Assess customer's technical requirements and estimate time and resources required to complete tasking in formalized ROM (Rough Order of Magnitude) reports.
  • Support customers with daily SharePoint Site Collection Administration duties, to include managing user permissions, designing custom permissions solutions, and creating subsites and other content.
  • Innovate in methods to automate business processes in Power Automate for SharePoint and Microsoft Office applications.


You'll Bring These Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years experience in SharePoint development (2010, 2013, 2016, 2019, or O365) and in SharePoint Site Collection Administration.
  • BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related technology degree.
  • Experience developing in Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or JQuery.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Tool Suite.
  • Must possess and maintain a Secret security clearance.
  • Strong communication skills and work ethic.
  • Ambition to learn and expand current skillsets; self-starter.


These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Experience with creating SharePoint Framework (SPFx) solutions, or customizing SharePoint with JavaScript and CSS.
  • Experience developing in Power BI.
  • Experience in SharePoint migrations and third party migration tools such as ShareGate.
  • Experience managing SharePoint site collections in a Site Collection Administrator (SCA) role.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
