Job Description:

CACI is seeking a Tactical Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) Lead for Tactical Network to support our TNP Branch located in APG, MD.

The TPKI support position will support the TPKI Lead for PM Tactical Network, Technical Management Division, is responsible for supporting the fielding and sustainment of Army Non-Person Entity (NPE) Tactical Public Key Infrastructure (TPKI). Duties include monitoring Army TPKI CA certificate and CRL distribution, management and distribution of TPKI technical and policy related documentation, assisting Army programs with TPKI PK-Enablement and integration, keeping Army TPKI aligned with Army and DOD policy and Army IDAM requirements, and ensuring TPKI software development efforts meet Army TPKI stakeholder requirements.

What You'll Get to Do:
  • Assist PM TN Field Engineers and Army units with addressing any TPKI related problems or issues occurring in the field.
  • Manage and maintain the collection of TPKI governance and technical documentation
  • Monitor and provide guidance to the Mission Command Support Center (MCSC) or the One Network Service Support Center (ONESSC) on TPKI related matters
  • Attend and provide guidance during TPKI software development planning meetings and reviews.
  • Stay abreast of TPKI software functionality updates, bug fixes, and other software changes.
  • Serve as SME for Army programs transitioning to TPKI, providing technical support and other resources as needed for integration with TPKI
  • Serve as POC for PEO C3T PKI to Army and DOD IDAM governing bodies, satisfying RFIs and giving briefs on Army TPKI architecture as necessary
  • Ensure sustainment of the TPKI CA Hierarchies: Development, Test, and Operational, as well as ensure the distribution of the related PKI certificates and CRLs to relying parties.
  • Serve as JENM Authorized Requesting Agent (ARA) for PdM TCNO, receiving requests and delivering JENM PKI credentials to various stakeholders.
  • Serve as a member of the Army ICAM IPT.
  • Assist Programs of Record with roadmaps for integration of PKI.


You'll Bring These Qualifications:
  • An active DoD Secret clearance.
  • Understanding of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and its application as it relates to Identity Access Management (IdAM).
  • Ability to reference and understand PKI policy and directives, such as CNSSP 25, CNSSD 506, and Army PAM 25-2-13.
  • Ability to reference and understand PKI standards, such as RFC 2560, RFC 5280, and RFC 6818.
  • Experience with the following is a plus:
    • Microsoft Windows Server 2019, Active Directory Certificate Services (ADCS), and Microsoft Certificate Authority (CA)
    • Hardware Security Modules (HSM)
    • Hypervisor software, such as Microsoft Hyper-V and VMware ESXi


These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
  • Ability to lead architecture and design discussions for PKI implementation in Tactical Network environment and for critical mission systems and applications
  • Ability to conduct briefings, seminars, and information sessions
  • Ability to communicate via e-mail and conferencing software with internal and external PKI stakeholders
