CACI is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to support the U.S. Army at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. You will be part of an integrated team to maintain effectiveness in defeating worldwide electronic warfare and signals threats while using your problem-solving skills and able to work with a team while in support of on-going projects managed from the Communications Electronic Command Software Engineering Center's Army Reprogramming Analysis Team (ARAT) Program Office. If you have a background Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or other Engineering or Technical discipline with a desire to work on a critical large-scale contract we would like to speak with you.

What You'll Get to Do:
  • Evaluate processes and work on products to ensure compliance with organizational and contractual process descriptions, standards, and procedures.
  • Identify, document, and track non-compliance issues to closure.
  • Perform QA audits and monitor all Software Development Lifecycle (SDL) activities.
  • Monitor development and integration testing, witness formal acceptance testing.
  • Report results of QA activities to project team members and management, maintain QA records.
  • Perform the Process and Product Quality Assurance (PPQA) practices defined in the Capability Maturity Model Integration for Development (CMMI-DEV).

More About the Role:

The primary focus of this position is to provide Process and Product Quality Assurance audit support for all Army Reprogramming Analysis Team (ARAT) supported systems. This position provides management structure and processes support for conducting audits on all work performed. Additional responsibilities include providing technical support during product reviews and making recommendations for corrective action for all ARAT programs.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:
  • Active Secret Level Clearance
  • A Bachelor's degree in a Technical discipline is required
  • At least 3 years of experience
  • Ability to write Quality Assurance (QA) Plans and audit software change procedures, software development, software testing, and software documentation to verify compliance with software QA plans and procedures.
  • Experience executing QA plans in accordance with defined requirements and parameters
  • Experience with participating in design reviews, configuration audits, and evaluations of software products to ensure proper identification, control, and status accounting of the software baseline for each system.
  • Experience working on QA of code management, audits, baseline identification, and preparation and control of documentation for software projects.
  • Experience providing process and product QA audits to staff and management with objective insight into processes and associated work products.
  • Ability to validate and verify hardware and software requirements and deliverables.
  • Experience documenting and adjudicating test defects and anomalies.
  • Experience conducting annual reviews of QA process instructions and documentation.

Pay Range: The proposed salary range for this position is $59,400-$121,800. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
