Are you interested in leveraging your Reverse Engineering skills to help DoD customers ensure their systems are mission ready?

What You'll Get to Do:

CACI has an exciting position for a Reverse Engineer in the Annapolis Junction area. In this position, you will engage with our customer to provide research and analysis of software, hardware, and firmware to improve cybersecurity assurance and resilience. You will work with customer labs on models, simulations, and deployed systems for platforms in use or in the acquisition process to identify vulnerabilities, establish proofs of concept, and recommend mitigations. This work provides an exciting opportunity to work with complex systems and contribute to the soundness of system designs and implementations of DOD weapons and/or space systems. You will have an opportunity to merge your skills with that of other systems engineers, software engineers, systems security engineers, and other teammates while completing important assessments and analyses to ensure the customer's systems are always mission ready.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:
  • Current TS/SCI with active polygraph required
  • A bachelor's degree in a related field or STEM with an additional four years of experience
  • Knowledge of reverse engineering processes and procedures for hardware and software including static and dynamic analyses techniques
  • Familiarity with at least one assembly language.
  • Intermediate level with a low level programming language
  • Experience developing analysis tools
  • Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards
  • Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments
  • Write or review software and system documentation
  • Assist with developing and executing test procedures for software components
  • Modify existing software to correct errors, to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance
  • Design, develop and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design
  • Implement recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards
  • Confer with system engineers and hardware engineers to derive software requirements and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces
  • Perform Software Engineering and vulnerability research.
  • Perform long term, in depth vulnerability assessments using reverse engineering, kernel debugging, and exploitation technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Five (5) or more yearsexecuting vulnerability analysis on weapons or space system platforms
  • Java, Obj-C, Swift, or other OO language experience
  • IDA or Ghidra experience
  • Experience with Binary Instrumentation frameworks
