What You'll Get to Do:

CACI seeks to hire an ISSO with IT Operations management experience to run the SCIF Operations team at a Fort Meade location. Responsibilities include IT team oversight and all aspects regarding the granting of authorization to operate IT systems at acceptable levels of risk, monitoring and testing of IT systems for vulnerabilities and signs of compromise, incident response and remediation, the development of appropriate policy, relevant user security awareness and training, and compliance with applicable government and other external standards. All staff are fully cleared and supported programs provide mission critical services to our DoD customer.

The successful candidate will bring working knowledge of system security design process, defense-in-depth/breadth, engineering life cycle, information domains, cross domain solutions, identification, authentication, and authorization, system integration, risk management, intrusion detection, contingency planning, incident handling, configuration control, change management, auditing, certification and accreditation process, principles of IA (confidentiality, integrity, non-repudiation, availability, access control), and security testing.

More About the Role:

As an ISSO/Operations Manager, you will support the evolution and maintenance of the IT networks, systems, and Systems Security Plans (SSPs) for a SCIF operation supporting over 300 residents.

Specific ISSO tasks include:

• Identify overall security requirements for the proper operation of the SCIF.

• Serve as an interface for the Certification and Accreditation (C&A) organization.

• Develop and maintain Systems Security Plans. Provide guidance to development and operational efforts regarding Information Assurance (IA) functions.

• Perform security planning, assessment, risk analysis, risk management, certification and awareness activities for systems and networking operations.

• Recommend solutions to implement security requirements. Interact with customers, stakeholders, and technical staff to define and achieve required IA objectives.

• Prepare and review certification and accreditation documentation. Review audit logs and adjust security posture to ensure continued system operations at defined protection levels.

• Review and ensure proper system updates and patches are administered based on IAVAs and other security patch releases for all operational systems.

• Analyze Vulnerability Scan data and Compliance Reports to coordinate remediation of findings with both internal and external support teams.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in Security Engineering.

• 2+ years in an IT leadership role.

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline. Additional experience may be substituted for degree.

• Current TS/SCI Poly clearance with ability to obtain PRIVAC.

• One of the following certifications is required: CAP, CASP+CE, CISM, CISSP, GSLC, CCISO

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of the customer's certification and accreditation process.

• Experience developing and maintaining SSPs.

• Familiar with XACTA, LATTEART, and scanning tools (e.g., CYBORGBUNNY)

• Familiar with Public Key Infrastructure-based authentication.

• Familiar with security policies (especially Intelligence Community policy).

• Ability to perform a technical security risk assessment.

• Understanding of how to perform analysis of alternatives.

• Experience as an IT/Systems Administrator with general networking knowledge.

• Command line and/or scripting capability on Windows and Linux platforms.

• Strong technical writing skills.
