What You'll Get to Do:

As a CACI-Wexford -- CBRNE Intelligence Analyst (Biological Specialty) you will be part of a specialized team that provides subject matter advice at the strategic level to senior Government and military commanders in support of the Defense Threat Reduction Agency's (DTRA) mission and assist with fusing operations and intelligence information focused on WMD and regional threat networks. You will produce white papers, regional threat analysis and assessments, short- and long-term assessments and produce products from customers' RFIs. You will provide multi-intelligence analysis and fusion that integrates existing national-level products and databases. You will build products that focus on Counter-Proliferation support key to DTRA and CCMD Priority Intelligence and Operational requirements and timelines. You will provide embedded and reach back support to Counter Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD) and Improvised Threat efforts and operations executed by DTRA, committed warfighting units and partners. You will provide multi-intelligence analysis and fusion that integrates existing national-level products and databases to define patterns of threat and network activity and narrow the search space to conduct CWMD operations. As required, you will interact directly with DTRA Senior Staff and deployed intelligence consumers during the development of intelligence products to meet intelligence requests for information. You will assist in the preparation and the conduct of leader engagements with DTRA and commanders globally, to assist in developing processes that enhance situational understanding of WMD and emerging threats, and the networks that employ or facilitate them to enable DOD, IA, and IC efforts focused on dismantling, disrupting, and defeating those threats.

More About the Role:

You will monitor and analyze tactical to strategic information to advise DTRA on new and emerging biological threats. You will answer requests for support from in-house and deployed teammates and other units, and working closely with a wide variety of units, institutions, and partners. You will work closely with other Counter-Proliferation, Strategic Intelligence Analysts, and CBRNE Analysts to identify capabilities and vulnerabilities of targeted threat organizations while identifying trends, patterns, and key nodes. You will assist with the development and maintenance of analytic policies and procedures for processing, production, and dissemination of intelligence. As required, you will brief intelligence assessments and may represent the client organization in fielding technical questions to support key assessments.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:
  • Current Top Secret/Specialized Compartmented Information Security Clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in biological related field (biology, microbiology, epidemiology, public health).
  • More than 6 years of experience conducting intelligence analysis for DoD and/or an intelligence agency in an analyst role, including multi-intelligence WMD or counter-proliferation production in the past 10 years
  • More than 3 years of direct experience with DoD and IC All-Source analysis tools, collecting and analyzing information in support of DoD or other government organizations, or direct experience managing analytic production, or the exploitation of multi-intelligence data focused on WMD or counter-proliferation Experience writing analytic products on a combatant command or IC staff.
  • Thorough understanding of network analysis tools such as Analyst Notebook and Palantir.
  • Thorough understanding of geospatial Intel tools such as ArcGIS and Google Earth.
  • Thorough understanding of Intel-related databases such as M3, TAC, NCTC Online, TIDE, and SIGINT databases such as ICReach and Cultweave SIGINT.
  • Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.
  • Willing to work rotating shifts if needed - that may include nights and weekends.


These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
  • Master's degree in a biological related field (biology, microbiology, epidemiology, public health).
  • More than 12 years of experience conducting intelligence analysis for DoD and/or an intelligence agency in an analyst role, including multi-intelligence WMD or counter-proliferation production in the past 15 years
  • More than 8 years of direct experience with DoD and IC All-Source analysis tools, collecting and analyzing information in support of DoD or other government organizations, or direct experience managing analytic production, or the exploitation of multi-intelligence data focused on WMD or counter-proliferation Experience writing analytic products on a combatant command or IC staff.
  • Masters level understanding of network analysis tools such as Analyst Notebook and Palantir.
  • Masters level understanding of geospatial Intel tools such as ArcGIS and Google Earth.
