The Mission: Our PEO Soldier Support team's mission is to increase military lethality, mobility, and situational awareness by acquiring, integrating, and delivering advanced battlefield awareness to our U.S. soldiers. Our Impact: Over the past decade, our PEO Soldier Support team has provided mission-critical Acquisition, Engineering, Cybersecurity, Logistics, Fielding, and Training support to multiple C5ISR soldier systems. What You Will Get To Do:

Develop cloud-based, multi-tiered storage systems, with an emphasis on cost control and designs that dynamically allocating data storage tiers based on user demand. Implement, manage, provision, and optimize cloud based storage services. Develop and implement policies for cost effective storage options (Hot, Medium, Cold Storage), including data at-rest. Work with development, security and operations teams concerning future application and environment technologies, upgrades and testing. Responsible for functioning as a top technical expert supporting an enterprise technical infrastructure. Studies and analyzes system needs, system development, systems process analysis, design, and re-engineering. Works with the enterprise to solve business problems with technology including hardware, software, databases, operating systems, and networks. Designs and defines information technology (IT) system architecture for integration of multiple platforms, operating systems, and applications across the enterprise. Determines systems specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility and maintenance of system security. Coordinates design of subsystems and integration of total system. Identifies, analyzes, and resolves program support deficiencies. Develops and documents the framework for integration and implementation for changes to technical standards. Assists in the development and management of an architecture governance process. Maintains knowledge of changes in technologies.


  • Experience designing, deploying, and managing cloud-based, multi-tiered storage systems in both AWS and Azure environments.
  • Prior successful projects developing and getting approval to deploy systems into the DISA and Army Impact Level 6 (IL6, SECRET) environment.
