What You'll Get to Do:

In this role, you will assist the Army in developing Lifecycle Logistics Strategies for complex technology programs involving significant technical and schedule risks, and you will recommend innovative and practical approaches to meeting a complex set of goals and constraints. The primary focus of the role is to provide logistics program strategy, planning and documentation support to guide military capabilities through the the requirements of the DoD 5000 Defense Acquisition System.

More About the Role:

Responsible for organizing and implementing a variety of responsibilities related to the flow of materials, products, services and associated systems information. Manages the performance of logistics functions including system fault analysis, life cycle maintenance and integrated product support (IPS) of major systems. Duties may include managing the control of the flow of goods, services and information between the point of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements as well as ensuring the execution and improvement of standard logistic processes. Plans, schedules, and routes imports and exports, including monitoring the flow of traffic to/from international destinations, ensuring related customer service, brokerage, and customs transaction compliance. Assesses and maintains compliance with federal and foreign regulations governing the shipment, receipt, and documentation of imported/exported products.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree. Knowledge and demonstrated skills in: Life Cycle Logistics regulations and policies including DoD 5000 series, AR 70-1, AR 700-127, and AR 700-142. Communication, leadership, logistics automated systems, team management, and risk management. DAWIA certification (Levels I, II, or III) for Life Cycle Logistics, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
