The Chief Network Engineer will bring deep domain expertise in enterprise systems, networks, cyber, digital modernization, and cloud solutions to actively participate in the definition and implementation of new technologies needed to support the customer's long-term technology strategy. The Chief Network Engineer will oversee all Engineering Teams to assist with solving problems and to ensure all solutions and projects are technically-sound, are of high-quality, are completed on schedule, and are in alignment with the SOW. The Chief Netowrk Engineer will be the chief collaborator for all technical matters external to O&M Teams and internal to the Operation Engineering Teams. Additionally, the Chief Engineer will be responsible for the identification, development, and oversight of mid to senior level engineering staff.

Additional Responsibilities of the Chief Network Engineer include:
  • Closely partnering with Operations Management to ensure the technology strategy is aligned with the organization's strategic plan and is reflected in the technology support plans.
  • Consult with customer leadership on potential solutions to problems.
  • will also be an active participant in the Requirements Management Process to include writing and reviewing proposal material and plans.


Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a Science, Engineering, or Technology field
  • 12+ years of technical experience (with 7+ of those years engineering solutions)
  • Candidate must have a fully adjudicated Top-Secret clearance with the ability to obtain SCI.
  • Network Engineering certification such as CCNA (or similar)
  • AWS or other cloud certification (or similar)
  • Recognized technology expert with experience supporting large, complex DoD or Federal Government environments
  • Demonstrated expertise at the enterprise level and program performance in the multiple technologies, such as: systems, networks, cyber, and cloud
  • Proven experience engineering/architecting large ($10M-$100M+) systems within the network, cloud, cyber and/or digital modernization domains
  • Experience leading technical teams to include solution architects and engineers
  • Ability to develop, manage, and implement a technology roadmap and portfolio
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, along with public speaking skills
  • Ability to influence and persuade others, as well as handle difficult negotiations requiring a well-developed sense of strategy
  • Ability to mentor, lead, and promote talent
  • Experience developing and leading technical teams


Desired Qualifications:
  • Master's degree or Ph.D. in a Science, Engineering, or Technology field.
  • TS/SCI Clearance.
  • Significant experience supporting capture activities to include chairing/participating in Gate Reviews, writing specific sections of proposals, providing preliminary technical guidance for solutions, and task cost estimation.
  • Senior to Expert level industry certifications such as Cisco, Microsoft, Azure, AWS, etc.(CCDE, CCIE)
