Job Description

What You'll Get to Do

CACI currently seeking a Project Coordinator with a combination of strong IT project management and communication skills. The ideal candidate shall be highly organized with excellent customer interface skills, and able to recognize problems and develop solutions. The candidate must be able to combine their knowledge of IT, interpersonal skills, projects to deliver support to a wide variety of users and customers.

More About the Role

Overall responsible for support of business and functional operations for a mission-critical 24/7 cloud-based IT Service in the Law Enforcement Services and Information Sharing (LESIS) office. Supports government Service Owner, Project Manager, and teamwith functions to includeDOJ and non-DOJ User Agency customer engagement, schedule management, preparing documentation, monitoring deliverables, and managing user accounts. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Work closely with Government Service Owner and Project Manager to create comprehensive action plans concerning resources, budgets, and timeframes for projects
  • Plan and manage project schedules and new information in support ofshort-term and long-termteam goals and objectives
  • Conduct recurring engagement withUser Agenciesto provide customer satisfaction, non-technical issue resolution, ad-hoc instruction, and requirements capture
  • Participate in project design meetings and propose improvements if necessary
  • Author and publish official communications to User Agencies to notify of planned/unplanned Service outages, system release updates and training events
  • Author, develop, write, or review technical and user-friendly deliverables, including but not limited to, executive-level briefings, dashboards, white papers, project plans, requirement documents, briefings, forms, surveys, memos, talking points, testimonies, reports, meeting minutes, manuals, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and other program management deliverables
  • Manage project-related documentation by ensuring all necessary materials are current,organized, properly filed, and stored
  • Support (and be prepared to facilitate) weekly vendor project meetings, Operations and Maintenance (O&M) meetings, and Project Meetings to plan and execute major system improvement releasesas well asminor releases for emergent User Agency requests, enhancements, defect repair and configuration updates
  • Update enhancement and defect tracking sheet forUser Agencies, vendors, and Service Owner input
  • Support onboarding of new User Agencies to includeinterface configuration and user administration
  • Communicates with parties within and outside of own job function. May have responsibility for communicating with parties external to the organization (e.g., customers, vendors, etc.)
  • Works to achieve operational targets with significant impact on departmental results. Works independently under limited supervision.
  • Able to provide documentation/presentations efficiently and effectively to an executive level audience
  • Requires understanding and ability to apply standards, principles, theories, and technical concepts obtained through education combined with experience


You'll Bring These Qualifications
  • Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university
  • 3-5 years related experience with Project Management activities
  • Knowledge with Microsoft Office / Microsoft Project / Microsoft Teams
  • Strong Organizational Skills and ability to juggle multiple simultaneous assignments
  • Ability to supervise current project(s) if needed and coordinate all team members to keep workflow on track
  • Strong written and oral communication skill
  • Customer interface experience

Pay Range: The proposed salary range for this position is $65,300-$134,000. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
