Job Description:

CACI is seeking an experienced Facilities Technician in support of the NSWCCD Facilities Division (Code 89) for repair, installation, and maintenance, for design and operation of electrical and mechanical systems in support of Test and Evaluation of DoD systems. Must hold or be able to obtain a SECRET Security Clearance.

What You'll Get to Do:
  • Test and analyze machines, tools, and components to determine performance, strength, and stress tolerance.
  • Inspect and maintain plumbing systems to guarantee maximum operation.
  • Conduct period quality checks on equipment and systems to plan and schedule repairs.
  • Inspect buildings, equipment, and systems to identify any problems.
  • Repair faulty equipment units and damaged structures
  • Recommend cost-effective changes in equipment design to improve reliability and safety and timeliness.
  • Interpret engineering designs, plans, and diagrams.
  • Provide technical solution to mechanical problems.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:
  • Trade school/trade license minimum of 3 or more years of related experience building maintenance technology or relevant field or a certification in Engineering Technology from a community college or vocation-technical school.
  • Advanced understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques of facilities and auto equipment.
  • Effective problem- solving abilities with written and verbal communication skills.
  • Compliance with health/safety procedures and regulations.
  • US Citizen
  • Able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance

  • Active Secret Security Clearance
