What You'll Get To Do:

As an operational systems engineer, you will be on the cutting edge for a wide range of cyber engineering activities. If you are the kind of person who wants to make a difference and have an impact on issues of national security, applying your technical foundation of skills and experience for cyber operations, then this might be the job for you. The person who fills this role will serve to bridge a gap between operations and development teams, bringing an understanding of the full cyber operations life cycle to articulate detailed technical requirements to development teams. Additionally, you will be in the middle of one-of-a-kind technical challenges requiring you to think and push your boundaries routinely. We have a great team who collaborate to solve technically challenging problems where creativity and out of the box solutioning are highly valued personality traits

You'll Bring These Qualifications

Must possess a TS SCI with required polygraph clearance

Bachelor's degree with 7 years of related work experience

7 years of experience supporting IC and/or DoD, with hands on experience in cyber operations

1-2 years of penetration testing/ethical hacking experience

Thorough knowledge of cyber operations/ethical hacking lifecycle

Must have a solid technical understanding of the fundamentals of exploitation (e.g. able to discuss memory corruption vs. logic bugs, remote code execution vs local privilege escalation, etc.)

Must be knowledgeable about post-exploitation techniques and common tools used for persisting access

Must be proficient across multiple technical platforms (Windows, Linux, network devices, mobile devices such as Android, iOS, etc.)

Must be able to articulate rigorous software development requirements in verbally and in writing

Must be familiar with current capabilities of antivirus and other security products

Be ablet o maintain awareness of a tool or research effort that are strategic in nature (months-to-years)

Must be forward-leaning and willing to explore options to innovate and resolve sometimes long-standing issues

Must be able to communicate technical subject matter to non-technical audiences

Must be willing to analyze various data sets to identify gaps and opportunities to enhance capabilities

Must be collaborative, able to work in lock steps with customer, team members, and external entities

Preferred
Prior development experience on Windows and/or Linux is a plus

Digital forensics experience (especially Windows) is a plus
